The Lodge - a club for men

8/10/2010 "..This place has gone down so much that it should be closed, this place is a crime scene that took place 4 years ago " - - Pete

7/10/2010 "..Just back from an extremely disappointing evening at the Men’s Club. We hadn't been to the Men’s Club in many years, but wanted to take an out-of-town friend out to a Texas topless club. Granted, it was a Saturday night and they were not very busy. The dancers were unbelievably ugly, or fat, or too young to be working. Our server was friendly, but the food was awful the wine overpriced. We called the manager over. He offered no apologies forget this place. " - - Bret

6/26/2010 "..*****************WARNING***** TO ALL********************** Went back for a second visit, after about 6 months away, door girl needs to go, rude and no personality. For a Wednesday night, about 10PM, place was almost empty. We stayed about 30-45 minutes. The club is just ok, nothing too special it is also the most expensive club in Dallas with unfriendly service. Looks like they want to screw the customer. " - - Chris

6/12/2010 "..I used to be a Men's Club customer but about a year ago started going to the Lodge. I met a couple of hot dancers and they were happy as hell except they had complaints about their fat bald headed dance manager. Last Tuesday I went with one of the dancers to men's and as we walked in she noticed the fat bald fuck now working at Men's, so we asked for our money back which was refused by the door girl. I hate this club. " - Jason

5/29/2010 "..Had a couple of hours to spend on Wednesday afternoon and wanted to check out how my old watering hole was doing since I got married. Paid to get admission and food from the buffet. I first noted it was not crowded, and only the big stage had a dancer that looked a bit aged proceeded to the buffet and it really is nothing like I remember it. Now comes the surprise which sent me in shock, I saw the old thieving loud mouth bitch of a manager Maurine. Could not believe she was back, are they that desperate wow never am going back there again. Why would you do that? " - - Brian

5/25/2010 "..Visited this club for the first time in many, many months. To each his own, but Fat must be in. There are many over weight aging dancers here. We saw two girls that could be considered 7's, all the rest were below 5's. The music is extremely loud, with many rap songs being played. Two of us ordered food that was way below average! What happened to this place? We returned this past Friday, for the Crawfish cookout and were happy with the drink pricing: $1.50 beers and wells. The beer tub server was especially nice, pretty and sexy! The out door stage dancers were all overweight and ugly! The drink prices may bring us back, but not the dancers or food!! " - - Jason

5/20/2010 "..Guys, I must say all the crap people post on this site about the Mens club is complete nonesense. I visited the TMC recently and found what is possibly the best club in the Dallas area. great service, gorgeous entertainers and friendly staff. If you want to visit one of the area's gentleman clubs. hands down the Mensclub is the place to be. " - - New costumer

5/12/2010 "..TERRIBLE SERVICE- OVERPRICED MEDIOCRE FOOD thats all we can say because our VIP waitress at lunch last week was out of her element. She belonged at Denny's or a truck stop. She called everyone "honey" and "babe", her hair was a mess, and the food was seriously overpriced and cold, this place has gone downhill!! " - - Preston

5/5/2010 "..Went there last week-end, my buddy and I were treated to a not too welcome atmosphere starting with the door girl. They had extremely loud music in the front of the stage so we asked for a manager and a tall guy I believe his name was Ean acted like we were bothering him and he could have cared less. The drinks were “VERY” weak, we left in a hurry. " - - Byron

4/18/2010 "..I have to say that I used to love TMC, but this past experience put a bad taste in my mouth. My date and I went to have dinner few days ago and our entire evening was ruined by Maurine the recycled female manager. Having been a VIP member for many years I never carried my VIP card and as we arrived at the door they would not let me in unless I paid or had my card to show I was a VIP. This used up and fired once already Maurine came out with a real attitude. My date couldn't believe the way she was talking to us. So we decided to go elsewhere and on the way out the chef Palou was there, why was he not in the Kitchen? And I told him about our experience with his x-girlfriend. We will spread the word about her behavior and goodbye TMC. " - - Brad

3/14/2010 "..I'll admit that I haven't been here in a while, That's because this particular Adult Club is legendary for extremely slow service, even when near empty. I wonder if this issue has been addressed. Having said that, the food was also not that good, and It used to be one of the nicest dining spaces in the Adult club world, it seems that service, food have gone the way of their entertainers “DOWN HILL”. This place is simply not good " - - Dean

3/11/2010 "..Jessica is now waitressing over at the Lodge " - matt

3/6/2010 "..Men's Club was touted as one of the best clubs in Dallas, and I say WAS. Went there last week for the first time in almost a year and were we in for a surprise. Did not see any of the old managers why? Many of the girls looked strung out on something and were fat, ugly or both or Mexican. This included our waitress in VIP a dark haired skinny starving idiot that could not get our order right.... where did Jessica go? This used to be one of the most famous clubs in Dallas only getting beat by the Lodge, it needs MUCH improvement. We cannot speak on how the dances were or are because we were so disgusted with the place that we were only in there for about 20-30 minutes, overall, I would consider this place as a last resort. " - - Brian

2/22/2010 "..Went to TMC for the NBA-Finals all I can say it was not very busy this club is a rip off, dancers are rude, overpriced items from food to drinks after 30 min left and went to Spearmint Rhino and it was packed but could not get up to VIP they had a party. So went to Cabaret Royal and it was also packed maybe they should appreciate their customers better, and clean that club up with some new management that will stay involved in cleaning it up. " - -

2/20/2010 "..I've been a customer here for quite some time, and I usually have a really good time here. The bar staff is very friendly. It is always great to talk to ALL my friends there. The dancers are getting to be somewhat trashy and drink prices are much too high!!! Poured in miniature glasses. This club used to be real classy but it doesn't seem like it to much anymore, management is absent on the floor and the waitresses run amuck. " - - Dave

2/14/2010 "..First, if you are from out of town looking for high class great service or high energy club this is NOT your place. Due to the fact the NBA All-star games were going on in Dallas this weekend our favorite club the Lodge was jam packed with out of town guests so we decided to go to the Men’s Club for the evening. All we can say is that this club is slipping badly, my friends just looked at me like what the hell we were doing there. It is overrated with nothing but bad service. The service was horrible to say the least, our waitress a skinny shabby looking girl by the name of Jules could not get our food order right nor our drinks on time, she looked like a druggie and appeared irritating to say the least. Without us asking for dancers, Jules kept bringing them to our table, and they turned out to be nothing but relentless money-grubbing dancer from out of town. Bottom line; the service at the Men’s Club was poor; the food was average and we will come back maybe in a year or so!!!!. Yes, don't spend a minute at this club; you will lose a lot of money for nothing. " - - Tracy

1/20/2010 "..To had a good time; You’re full of crap this place at least during the day has an idiot that got fired from Hooters for a manager….. And all he does is try to hit on every fair looking dancer or waitress and get drunk…. If they fired him their liquor cost would go down 10% you are posting yourself? maybe you are Al? " - - Brian

1/17/2010 "..I went to the Men’s club tuesday afternoon and I didn't see a single attractive girl that would make me want to stay, as a matter of fact nothing but trailer trash and old worn out hookers. The music was terrible and the waitresses were incredibly slow with cold food and into themself more than the customer. " - - randy

12/22/2009 "..I David recently visited the TMC and had a great time. The girls were looking rough and David the manager. I read some of the reviews prior to my buisness trip to Dallas from the Mens Club in Charlotte N.C. and I was surprised at how right they were. The food was overpriced and cold and well worth every penny. Had a great time and on my next trip into Dallas I am coming back for sure..... a happy employee " - - Had a good time lying..... " - Swamie

12/15/2009 "..I recently visited the TMC and had a great time. The girls were great looking and the managers as well as the staff were awesome. I read some of the reviews prior to my buisness trip to Dallas and I was surprised at how wrong they were. The food was great and well worth every penny. Had a great time and on my next trip into Dallas I am coming back for sure..... a happy client " - - Had a good time

12/10/2009 "..I went to the men’s club tuesday night and I didn't see a single attractive girl that would make me want to stay, as a matter of fact some of the old trash that was let go has a new lease on life and being let back, who is the dumb manager that hires these old bitches. the music was terrible 'gangster crap and the waitresses were incredibly slow because they were fat. I have given up after three years and will never go back. I want everybody to know that it seems to be management problems that no one wants to deal with so why should customers support that horseshit. " - William

11/19/2009 "..I went in on tuesday night and all didn't see a single attractive girl. the music was terrible and the waitresses were incredibly slow. I will never go back to that place " - -

11/18/2009 "..The Men’s Club was touted as one of the best clubs in Dallas. We went there and were quite disappointed. We must have hit this club on a bad day shift because many of the girls looked strung out on something and were either chubby, ugly or both, many are too old and your selection is limited. The first one we saw was a bit chubby and old (good for those of you who are into that kind of thing). The next one up was a tall blond named Alex who should have been on "When Boob Jobs Go Wrong" because hers looked like the worst back-alley job we had seen. She obviously didn't start out doing this or had been doing it so long that her moves were completely out of date. The next dancer looked like a cross between a vulture and a librarian. She had a huge hooked nose and a crusty look, she was about 5' 3" and couldn't have weighed more than 105, with absolutely NO tits and should have stayed in high school it was not a turn on! She was the proverbial "train wreck” This club has to be the last stop before stripper retirement. The waitresses did not seem very interested in their job nor did any manager; we know that to be a fact because none ever showed up on the floor. If you are looking for a good strip club, you won't find it here; we do NOT recommend this club to anyone under the age of 65 because you are going to be sorely disappointed. " - - The Team

11/17/2009 "..Who cares if Rick was or is popping pills again he will die soon anyway, how can anyone hire him? He fucked everything in the club and let the dealers and pimps in because they gave him money and drugs, and Steven knew it. Yes you can get blow and pills at any corner of the bar or from any of the old bartenders, how the fuck they still make money there. David Fairchild!!! What does Steve McWilliams add to the club? Making customers and managers waitresses that won’t do him miserable? Or is he there to help that drunk fuck manager Al a want to be manager that got fired from Hooter’s for sexual harassment get Steve laid? Close this place. " - Dusty

11/8/2009 "..Well Ian I don't think it was steve that wrote that review because that man would never take up for anyone, it was probably his girlfriend, the only person in the world that has no idea Rick is popping pills again or she choses to over look it. That place needs help bad, and yes they should get rid of all the drug dealers that come in there. You can get blow and pills at any corner of the bar or at the first table in VIP. Sad thing is that everyone knows whether you do it or not. Then you have Richard Rivera the greatest promoter on the planet,(we all know the truth) hmmmm good choice to keep him on David Fairchild!!! How about Steve McWilliams making strippers, waitstaff, and managers miserable , he is the worst of them all, how has that guy kept a job. Funny thing is he thinks he is a fashionista with his bolo, what f****** planet does he live on???? Well hopefully the new manager can help the club. " - pseudonym

11/7/2009 "..I have been a customer of the Men’s club for about two years, and have seen it go through some good and bad times. The dancers here seem to be a little on the old and trashy sideand that is why most of my friends stopped frequenting the club, the day waitresses have nothing but an arrogant attitude especially the fat dark haired x- dancer from Million $ a million years ago she might have been better. The food is on the pricey side, and the drinks are served in miniature glasses which reminds me of Baby Dolls… " - Cody

10/29/2009 "..To: anonymous...... Your statement “...I just wanted to let you know stripper, that Rick Ondo got the job with Top Golf, which is not a golfing store but a very popular driving range/ bar, before Frank ever mentioned he was leaving” is false” . Rick Ondo gave his termination notice in our managers meeting a week after Frank quit so no he was not already leaving the company, So Steve don't you start telling lies if you don't know what you are talking about. I suggest that you Steve get rid of his drug dealers that were allowed in the club for free by Rick… " - Ian

10/14/2009 "..I just wanted to let you know stripper that Rick Ondo got the job with Top Golf, which is not a golfing store but a very popular driving range/ bar, before Frank ever mentioned he was leaving. Rick was already leaving the company, it was just a matter of when. Don't start telling lies if you don't know what you are talking about. Let's not talk about pasts following us because one day your past will to if you keep talking like that. What you put out to the world is what you get back. Remember that next time someone is bashing your name into the ground because of what you do for a living. I personally like The Mens Club " - - anonomyous

10/8/2009 "..David -- No, I don't work at TMC, and I didn't say I'd visited a lot of other clubs. I've visited a few, but never indicated that my opinion was based on a wide sampling. Certainly, I am not blind to the shortcomings of TMC, and didn't try to whitewash the place or represent it as some perfect place to go. All I can report is my own experiences, as compared to both other clubs and to other retail establishments like restaurants. Speaking strictly from a personal perspective, I've always been treated very well by the vast majority of the people at TMC. The whole point of what I tried to convey in my last post was that it seems to me that whether it is a "gentleman's club" or a restaurant or a store or any other place where you enter as a customer, the type of experience you have is often highly influenced by your own attitude. How you treat people and how you approach doing business can set the stage for a pleasant experience or a frustrating one. What I've seen, at TMC, other clubs, other restaurants and stores in general, is the customer who walks in with an arrogant and self-centered attitude, expecting the employees to fall all over him and who walks out disappointed. If that customer comes in recognizing that the people who work there are other people like himself, who deserve respect and common courtesy, it seems more likely to me that the customer will be treated better. I am not trying to "sell" anyone on TMC over any other club, and think that folks need to go where they are happy and feel appreciated. Ultimately, your buying decision, whether it is for a hamburger, a movie, a new suit or an evening's entertainment, will generally be based on where YOU feel most comfortable, appreciated and satisfied. What I was trying to convey is that for me, that is at TMC, and was trying to offer an offsetting opinion to all of the negative comments. You can discount my opinions if you'd like, but there is no rule that everything posted here has to be critcal, and I have no problem agreeing to disagree about TMC. " - Flower Guy

10/8/2009 "..Here we go... Thank God Rick Rondo was overlooked for the GM position at Men's Club and is now going to be working at a golf store. Rick coming back to work after trying to kill himself was by far the worst thing to ever happen to The Men's Club (besides Frank) and him leaving is going to be by far one of the best things to ever happen. He and Frank ran this club so far into the ground I'm wondering if it can ever recover. I mean, I know Rick only makes 38,000 dollars a year at Men's and for that reason he hates his job and takes it out on everyone around him, but that's not the club's employees' fault and we shouldn't have to suffer because of it. But maybe he'll enjoy his new 30,000 dollar a year job at a golf shop. Good luck Rick...I'm sure you'll be just as beneficial to them as you were to us. You pill-poppin', douche. Someone asked me tonight why I didn't think Rick should've gotten the GM job and my answer was simply this: "Why should someone who's never done ANYTHING for this club get a promotion?" That would just be Fairchild paying Rick extra money for doing the same amount of nothing he does now. As of late, the management at Men's is a fucking joke and Rick is leading that circus. When I go to work and realize Rick is working that night, it makes me want to shoot myself in the face. And I'm not alone in that urge. From dancers to djs to other managers, no one is sorry to see him go. Except maybe his drug dealers. I'm sure they'll follow him wherever he goes though...considering he's probably one of their biggest clients. I hate to be ugly, but it is what it is. Rick is a horrible manager...if you can even call him that. Can you consider someone who gets fucked up on pills and alcohol all night long a manager? In any event, Rick is out and I say again with extreme enthusiasm: THANK GOD!!! " - just a stripper

10/5/2009 "..Flowerguy,you must work at the mens club.If youve frequented all the other clubs in dallas,as you say you do,then you would never go to the mens club. The employees are rude, and all the managers are the rejects that cant work at any other club in town. So,from where im standing, your opinion is biased, and useless. " - - David

10/3/2009 "..It has been interesting to read the reviews posted since my last comment here. I think that the negative impressions provided are representative of the well-known fact that people who have had a good experience will tell their friends and people who have had a bad experience will complain to anyone who will listen. I have a news flash for those who have never been to The Men's Club (TMC) -- the place is NOT perfect. Okay? Got that? Now that we have that out of the way, let's talk about what it is. TMC is a cross-section of employees that look just like what you'd see at any retail establishment. Some are bored and unhappy to be there. Some are average employees who dependably show up, do their jobs and then go home. Some are enthusiastic people who enjoy themselves and who stand out from the crowd. I am constantly amazed at the reaction from people who have the attitude that it is "all about them". Sure, you're the customer, but it is a two-way street. Do you go in and treat the people you come into contact with as if you're "all that" and that they are some lower-class person who only exists to make YOU happy? I've seen behavior in the TMC and another club that is boorish, rude, arrogant, conceited and insulting. Yes, I'm talking about from the customers! Guess what? If you went into any retail location and acted that way, you're not going to be well-received. On the other hand, I've seen people come into TMC who are looking for a place to relax, unwind, have some drinks, eat a meal and enjoy the lovely ladies, and who treat the people working there with respect and dignity and common decency. Those people tend to leave with a good impression. The people who work at TMC are people. Treat them the way you would want to be treated and see what happens! Yes, even the dancers are people. Don't assume that just because they take their top off that they want you to grab and handle them inappropriately. And yes, some of them may be of an age, weight, shape, color or appearance that doesn't appeal to you, but take a look in the mirror sometime. I've rarely seen a dancer judge a customer the way customers get on here and critique the dancers. If you're not attracted to blondes, then strike up a conversation with a brunette, but don't criticize the blonde. I've been approached at TMC by ladies who ask if they might join me, and when I've politely declined, they have thanked me and moved on. It doesn't make me want to get on here and bash them because they aren't .... or they are.... and for those reasons they don't appeal to me. As I said in my last post -- I've been treated with respect, dignity and courtesy by 99% of the employees at TMC. In my opinion, you tend to get what you give! Stop by TMC with a fresh perspective and I think you'll be pleased with your visit. Oh, and by the way, as of last night, the beef nachos are still superb! " - Flower Guy

9/27/2009 "..This place was almost laughable. Granted the facility (club) was nice looking, but the crowd was pathetic no dress code and it looked like I was in a dive bar. With all the advertising this club does, and with the attractive building, I was surprised what I saw there. The limited entertainers varied from old and fat to mediocre. The lady that approached me was at least 50 years old; I could see that was not going to be much fun. The waitress was rude and lazy, asked for a manager and was told he was busy. Next time I will go elsewhere. " - - Andrew

9/9/2009 "..This club is most poorly ran club in dallas. Its an awesome building to have a club in.Its a shame that incredibly poor management has ruined this spot. All the good girls have gone elsewhere, the good djs quit or got fired, and this club actually fired there housemoms of 15 years just to bring the old housemom in from million dollar just try and sucker in there old girls before they found a new club to work at.This club sucks, avoid at all costs. " - - David H.

8/31/2009 "..That tall skinny guy is a has been from Arizona as is his roommate and the DJ, they all were losers in Phoenix and are there to make Adam and Rick look good as managers and yes TMC needs to get rid of all the managers they have including the daytime drunk Al, thought that a Manager is the person responsible for planning and directing the work of their team and monitoring their work, and taking corrective action when necessary can’t do that if your drunk and or on drugs, that’s why the employees and customers laugh at them. " - - Dustin

8/14/2009 "..Who is the tall skinny guy who runs around acting skiddish all the time? Frank you really do a good job at hiring new managers. Seems like TMC needs to get rid of all the managers they have that act like d*@ks just because they don't have any other skills but to stand around every night and wish they could run shit, lol. The employees really could care less about whats coming out of their mouth. " - - Dan

8/6/2009 "..I do not know what possessed us to go to the Men’s Club. This club has gone straight downhill. My partner and I stopped by Tuesday night and they had at best 18-20 girls. About 5 African Americans 5 Mexicans with ugly tattoos and 4 old worn out loud drunken fat Caucasian and 4 minors that looked like trailer trash. All I can say the Quality of ladies has diminished a lot. This place is now nothing but a dive that makes the ladies @ DGC look awesome, the music sucks, the drinks are way over priced and all I gotta say is we were not impressed at all if you want to go to topless club go elsewhere…… " - - Dwayne

8/3/2009 "..As few words as possible-disgusting! The place just looks unkept and filthy. Few to none, attractive dancers. Does anyone manage this place, other than unlocking the doors and turning the lights out? We won't be back. " - - Mike

6/18/2009 "..I have been visiting this club for about seven months, and have seen it go through some ups and downs. There has been some turnover in some of the management positions, but in general, I can't imagine finding a more hospitable and involved set of managers. Each one of them knows me by name and always greet me with a smile and a handshake. They consistently tell me that they appreciate my business, which goes a long way towards satisfying any customer. In addition to the managers, there have been quite a few waitresses and bartenders who have made the effort to be friendly and to treat me like a welcome addition to their day and not an interruption of it. Maybe it is just because they know me, but I rarely feel as if they are hustling me to buy more drinks or spend money in general. Just like in any quality food service establishment, they ask if you'd like something, but they don't pester you every two minutes about it. The dancers here seem to represent a good cross-section of what I would think most men would want to see. Some are tall, some are short, some are thin and some are more curvaceous, there are blondes, brunettes and dark-haired ladies. In general, they seem to have good dance skills but don't act too full of an arrogant attitude. There is one amazing young lady named "Charm" who is extremely energetic and outgoing as a dancer. She seems very genuine and interested in being herself, and in fact, really seems to delight in just moving to the music and expressing herself to it. I would disagree with some of the previous reviews that complained about the food, though. I've eaten a wide variety of items from their menu on most nights of the week, and have never had a bad meal. Their food is on the pricey side, but the quality and the presentation mitigate some of the sticker shock. Their signature steak is regularly one of the best cuts of meat I've ever had in any steakhouse, and they've got some killer nachos. In addition, if you have a female friend who you enjoy buying clothes for, they have a nice boutique with a diverse selection of everything from sexy to quirky to sporty and to everyday clothes across the price spectrum. You can even find a nice swim suit here so you can go out to the back courtyard and relax in their pool or hot tub. All in all, from the security guard in the parking lot to the chef and waiters, and from the managers to the dancers, The Men's Club has treated me well and has reminded me of the "Cheers" bar as the place "where everyone knows your name" and makes you feel welcome! " - - Flower Guy

6/16/2009 "..I have been to the Men's Club and was greeted by a very nice dressed with a professional attitude and smelled wonderful too! He was very thoughtful and checked on our table often to make sure my date and I were being served our drinks on time! We met a awesome dancer named "CHARM" she was very nice and had a awesome personality! She sat with us for a while and we enjoyed her company! We paid her for her time and thanked her for taking time to say hello! We had a great time!! Hope this club will keep the manager and Charm around for a while they really help the atmosphere! Thanks!! " - - Syvannia

6/14/2009 "..The strippers at this club are exactly why I stopped frequenting The Men's Club. The quality of dancers has fallen to an extremely low level they have absolutely zero class, old and ugly they are a long way from what they once were and you'd rather not see them undressed. The food is average at best and, is scaled back to what amounts to Stouffers Birds Eye purchased pre-cooked food. There were maybe five customers; also the place is full of somber unhappy employees which are reflected in the table service which is very poor. Our waitress a fat dark haired ugly x dancer was not very friendly or service oriented she had an attitude. This club is still showing further decline, there are too many clubs with more to offer than this place. " - - Chase

6/9/2009 "..Went to the Men's Club in Dallas with a friend who was visiting from out of towne. It was a Wednesday nite and kinda slow. Met "Charm" and had a great time. I will definetely be going back there. She said she works every nite except on Mondays. You will recognize her by her tattos and piercings. " - - dfw guy

6/4/2009 "..There were no incredibly hot ladies. Instead my buddy and I were treated to a not too welcome atmosphere, with extremely loud music. Several dancers were not very attractive at all, a little old I must say, all though they were very nice. " - - Tommy

5/25/2009 "..Visited The Men's Club last Sunday with some friends and was thoroughly disappointed. There seemed to be no management at all and the only bartender was acting like a customer sitting at a table with a tall customer we thought, who turned out to be a manger, the three dancers were all average to below average at best with one being old enough to be a grandmother. The waitresses were BS’ing on another table and very inattentive. We decided to leave and couldn't believe the attitude of the manager he was busy trying to hit on the bartender. l and my friends won't be back there anytime soon. I would give it “0” stars. " - james

5/19/2009 "..Sunday, the 17th of this month. I went to the Mens Club, after taking nearly a year off from visiting. Different story as to why I left....but I figured if I came in on a Sunday, it would be a laid back visit, where maybe I could watch a game, eat a meal, and get a view. No biggie. Well...the kitchen doesn't open during the day on weekends anymore. There was noone on stage. There were three girls sitting around talking to the bartender, and I guess one was supposed to be my waitress???? After three long spell to get beers.....with nothing going on, and a rumbling belly....I don't believe I'll ever go back. What happened to managing your club to take care of the customers anyway? That's why I left before, and most definitely why I left on Sunday. Beat it ! This place has lost all the makings of what I used to enjoy in the first place. " - - Dale

4/27/2009 ".. Steve, I too like to get hammered, shit faced, so if your drinks are watered down, call their hand at it. Tell them you want to see it poured from the bottle yourself. If they won't oblidge you tell them you will spend your money at a better club. I do! There are many to choose from. " - igor javutich

4/26/2009 "..Went to the Men’s Club Ricks for my 31st birthday, what a hottie at the front door. Anyway I was in for maybe 2 mins and needed a drink. (Note: get hammered before you go here). The drinks were so weak and overpriced. I'm a total light weight, I had 3 shots of Tequila, at $ 14.00 didn't feel a thing. Anyway, there were no hotties in the club like that hottie at the front door….so went to Silver City were my buddies said to go and had a blast……………………………. " - Steve

4/14/2009 "..I was in the area so decided to stop by the Men’s Club. The first thing I noticed is that it's a very, very nice club inside. The chairs are nice, the club decor feels cozy, and there are flat screen TVs everywhere. This was an early afternoon visit - around 4:30pm, on a Thursday - and despite sticking around until nearly 9pm, the place was pretty empty. Amazingly, there were only three girls working when I got there, and there were only a couple more by the time I left. When I was leaving, the bartender assured me business generally starts picking up around that time, and gets busy past 10pm, so if you're going to swing by it might be best to wait until later. The main stage was very large. The show was OK but nothing special. I would say the girls were closer to 3's with maybe a 7. Girl quality was a bit higher when I left, but not by much a serious shortage of women. Hopefully it's better later at night. I'd also add the short side note that, unfortunately, the waitress was smoking hot. It's always a shame when the hottest chick in the place isn't dancing. One of the class 3 dancers asked me to buy her a drink and it cost me $12 and I believe the drinks are very overpriced. I like the idea of class, but I'm not sure that the customers should be out-dressed by dancers they need to get a dress code in place because they are not classy looking more like what you would expect at Silver City and makes you feel a bit uneasy and I found it difficult to relax. " - - Dusty

4/9/2009 "..This place is a rip-off. I was not happy with the service or dancers at this club during the day. The drinks were weak and expensive I would say they are the most expensive I have ever seen and are offered with a cold shoulder by the waitress. I was one of only about 3 other customers in there and they had only 4 ladies dancing. The ladies were below average, only 1 thanked me for tipping her on stage. She is the one I ended up getting a private dances from she wiggled in my lap for about two minutes, asked to be paid before the dance was completed saying she was on stage next and then just got up and walked away, this place needs help. I would like to visit when it was more crowded and had more girls dancing. " - Davud

4/7/2009 "..Well, my husband and I went from one bad club to another the other night. Yes I am a women and like to look at other women, but I have to say I don't know what is up with these clubs and the bean pole no boob type of women they hire. We did get better waitress service at this club then at the other we went to, but the drinks are still to way expensive and very weak. We stayed several hours hoping things would pick up but that never happened. Only saw two girls that were worth anything that night and once they left the stage they were no where to be found. Most of the girls look just 18 barely. The biggest entertainment of the night was watching some old man pass out and them having to escort him out. My husbands says he will never forget my words I said to make us finally leave. "Im bored, Im sober, its time to go." " - East Texas Girl

4/4/2009 "..I've never been enamored with strip joints in Dallas and Men’s club advertises themselves to be the finest upscale gentlemen's club in the world, catering to the discriminating businessman by offering some of the Hottest Ladies and great food, they should be sued for false advertising, because most of the women look like trailer trash and are to persistent, one 18 year old dressed in a short high school skirt and needed to take bath asked us if we want a dance. I look at my partners and we take a vote. We decide we do not want a dance from a child that should be in school. The vote is unanimous. Way unanimous. Who would pay $20 for a dance, from a trailer trash minor anyway? In the first hour there about 10 women approached us and none would qualify as average. Also you will encounter other drawbacks such as weak drinks that are way over priced and I mean overpriced , the menu prices for the food are also unreasonable, will never go back……. When we are in Dallas. " - - Sam

3/23/2009 "..I had always been a fan of the Men’s Club and I think the management of Frank, Rick, Adam and David things are on track, but I must say that there are too many pimps and their ladies being allowed in the club and it is starting to go very dark. I personally think that if things continue they way they have with these problems and the word is now getting out, it will sink the club. " - - lotsoffun

3/20/2009 "..On 3-20-09, I walked in to The Men's Club. The outside was very appealing, and the front room was very well decorated. I happened to have just arrived there with my husband 20 minutes prior and was waiting in the front room to meet a friend. While out there, I noticed the hostess working (around 3 pm on Friday) was very helpful and a true sweetheart to the girl that had walked in (this was not the friend that I was waiting for). The girl was very tall, thin, gorgeous and blonde. I am sure she would be fantastic whether it had been serving or dancing. When the hostess asked the manager if they were hiring for bartenders, the day manager rudely said "NO! We are over staffed". He never even looked at the applicant, and just rushed by to the boutique on the other side. I was appalled at how rude he was to a complete stranger. He never mentioned other positions, although the hostess proceeded to help her and tried to excuse the manager's behavior. Experiencing the situation actually prompted me to leave, as well as having my husband's and I's friend's meet us at another club. If he had no problem treating her that way, what keeps him from treating his employees or customers that way? I will never return. " - - Kaylee

3/20/2009 "..I wanted to let you know how impressed that I was with your club on 3-12-09! We were greated by a very nice manager that reminded me alot of the comedian "Kramer" he had a outstanding personality and helped seat us in a quite but good view of stage and the bar. He even remembered our names right through the night and shook our hands as we were leaving that evening! The dancers were very well dressed and for a Wednesday they were pretty busy! I met a dancer "CHARM" and she was very outgoing and not fake! We enjoyed her company and would for sure come back again!! I would say this club rates a A++++++++ in all areas. The hostess were very attentive but not pushy! I will remember the Manager that greated us and came by our table to check on us still remembering our names! Wow....that is great Public Relations! We will be back! Also, we purchased clothing from your boutique and the mark down prices really helped me to find something seductive for later!!! Great Idea on Promotional Sales! " - - Lorrie

2/22/2009 "..Buddy and I went to the Men’s club at about 12:30 a.m. last Saturday night, technically Sunday morning. We'd just left Rhino which was too crowded to enjoy some drinks and less rushed atmosphere. We didn't go in expecting much because of some of the reviews I read which not it bode well for this club. So we sit down and I notice there are probably 10 percent good looking dancers, 90 percent dancers I would not ever consider getting a dance from, either a bit too heavy for the fantasy or what I consider too old or not cute enough and of course there were those requisite several girls that I wouldn't even want to see naked for free. We sat down at the bar and I was glad none of the girls came up to me right away. I like being able to sit down, order my drink, and get acclimated. I like the layout - not too big, but not too small. Our only real complaint at that point that we had to wait quite some time before the bartender came over. I'm guessing it's much better if you have a seat on the floor and flag down a cocktail waitress, as the bartenders seem to give those the priority. The price of drinks is nothing but a rip off. They are way too high for a club with poor quality of dancers. Maybe the high drink prices explain why they were so slow on a Saturday evening. I got approached by a dancer and first said no (and she was a 4 at best, I'm always amused at the irony), another started off with pleasant conversation and didn't linger when I hinted I wasn't interested in a dance, but she was nice and sat on my lap and was patient in chatting as me and buddy finished a beer. A dancer then asked my buddy to buy her a drink. He agreed, and she ordered a glass of wine. When the drink arrived, she excused herself saying she'd be right back. She then proceeded to the bar where she sipped her drink while talking to another guy. This could again be a great club if it were run right. The problem with the quality of the girls is just bad management. A good manager should make sure the girls treat the customer’s right. I wouldn't recommend visiting this club. There are so many other good clubs in town where you’re hard earned money will buy you a much better time. " - - James Writer

2/2/2009 "..Three of us went to the advertised Wednesday brunch at the Men’s Club since we had heard great things about it, decided to go in. What a waste of money! First of all the food was overrated and cold, talked to the Manager about it, Al I believe was his name he said nothing just listened to our complaint an did not have a response, why is he a manager? Slow waitress and no one looked happy. Too much light for a strip joint, Dancers were not good either. Overall, will not go back ever. " - - Byan

1/22/2009 "..A friend (dancer from PII) text me saying she was working at TMC now. I stopped by about 8:00 Tuesday eveing and had a great time. I haven't been to TMC for several years and had the impression the place was a little snooty for my taste. Much to my pleasure and surprise I had a great time. The waitstaff was attentive, the dancers were pleasant and the manager I met was cordial welcoming me to the club. I am surprised at all the negative posts on this club. I had a great time and will return. " - - LL

1/21/2009 "..We wish they would refund our cover charge. We didn't see any good lookers-all 5's and 6's at best. Oh well, a lesson learned and paid for. " - Robert

1/19/2009 "..Went to TMC after a few months of not going there and found it to be getting worse since our last visit. Our waitress was very cordial, drinks were subpar manager David is a jerk no personality, and busy talking to the strippers, had a idiot dancer by the name of Parker try to hustle us for drinks and after about 45 minutes she wanted us to pay for her time? WTF we did not ask her and her friend to come and sit with us and she almost demanded the drinks and money for sitting down. Went to the Lodge had great food, clean club and Hot dancers. We were surprised at how bad TMC was after visiting the Lodge. " - - Bill

1/18/2009 "..Went to this place last night after a few months of inactivity and found it to be even more dead than usual. 20-25 girls by 10PM and that number was slowly dwindling with most of the girls being 5s and 6s. The only exception was Chloe but she's rarely there and shouldn't be at such a dead GC like this. Our waitress was very cordial but it's hard not to be when there's only 3-4 other groups in the place and the bartenders are still great with making the drinks on the strong side. Managers seemed demotivated but that's always been the case here and I was really hoping that they would turn it around for the better for the past few months. What this place needs is a major decor and upholstery change since all the chairs show their age, glasstop tables are heavily scratched and everything in general looks outdated. I'm surprised this club is still open at this rate and wonder how much longer it'll last. " - - Our Young King

1/4/2009 "..WHATEVER!!! WAY OVER RATED!!! My boyfriend & I have been to the Men’s Club several times & have had the same experiences each time no service. Yaaaawwwwnnnn……is this a restaurant or a strip club? The food prices equal PAPPAS. The “dancers” are marginal. It is too expensive, the lighting is ridiculously. It was all we could do just to get a drink in that place. It’s the MOST OVER RATED PLACE EVER!!!! The women look like they came from some hole in the wall and they let a good stylist loose on them. Class? Are you kidding me? You can dress up a street walker….but they’re still a street walker. I wouldn’t waste my time or money!!! I will not be back. Anyone who asks will get my honest opinion. " - - stacia

12/26/2008 "..so i went by 3 other strip clubs on xmas eve, they were all dead. I happened to stopped by tmc and thang goodness i did. I was received by the great manager named al at the front door. Great first impression. Secondly, I was greeted by the waitress when i entered the main floor. I decided to go to the bar that was located at the middle of the club. There was d greatest bartender i have ever met, his name was Louie. After that i was hit by various entertainers ranging from a 7 to 9. They offered me massages and also dances. They had great lunch specials. I had the chicken fried steak, i had that, it was great. Then i decided to go with the entertainers, i had great dances and the least i could complain is about the entertainers and the service i received at tmc. i give it 4 star.Thanx tmc, i will definitely be back. " - - big j

12/26/2008 "..I am far north of any club, but the ones I have visited the Lodge is the best. The last time I was there they had european dancers very interesting, even if they were just after the money. I find the food very good and the women the best. Thanks I will be back. Rambo " - - Rambo

12/22/2008 "..I used to go to Men’s Club a lot, there used to be classy beautiful girls working there. But last Saturday I and a couple of buddies went there for some Christmas cheer and it has gone to hell. This club has overpriced drinks, dirty skanks that wear the same smelly crap outfits which makes them look like hookers, and their idiotic scams they try and pull, that young blond waitress in VIP is an alcoholic that will only serve you if you buy her drinks!!!!!!!!! If this is what you like then The Men’s Club is for you, also the food was awful and cold. We then went to Spearmint Rhino and then to the Loage and there were so many beautiful ladies and it was very up going and a fun club. We are never going back. " - - Jerry

11/6/2008 "..Visited The Men's Club on Halloween with some friends and was thoroughly disappointed. There seemed to be a lot of drama going on everywhere. The dancers were all average to below average at best with maybe one or two slightly above average girls. Most of the waitresses were slow and inattentive. Spent some time in the "VIP" area and couldn't believe the attitude of one of the waitresses (can't remember her name since we rarely saw her at our table or anywhere for that matter-blond, not very feminine, kept running around trying to punch people. I guess she thought she was some sort of fighter??) She seemed more interested in complaining and drinking than waiting on customers. The other waitress (Jessica??) was friendly and attentive. She helped make up for the other problems but we still probably won't be back there anytime soon. I would give it 2 stars and only that many for the one friendly VIP waitress. " - - Disappointed customer

11/4/2008 "..Went into the Men's Club this past week after going to the Lodge for the past year. Great and clean looking club, most of the dancers were good looking but they still had some fat ones. Waitress (Angie) had bad attitude claimed she was really a bartender surprised me that she was!!! if I had a bar I would not hire female bartenders. Management I can't remember their names but they were friendly, and sharp with their knowledge of food and wine. I had a couple of great dances, our dancers were all sexy. The food, and food service was awesome we did not even realize the kind of food they had there since not having gone there in almost year. I do not see where the previous posters are so down on this place. I salute TMC for being classy and professional I will be coming back again. " - - Johnny Shanks

11/3/2008 "..Went into the Men's Club this past week. Love the layout of the club. Dancers were good looking but not aggressive to come to talk to me. Had to have really nice and fun bartender Angie bring a few girls to me. I had a couple of nice dances but really enjoyed talking with Angie. She was sweet and sexy. The service was above most places I have been to in the past. I did not even realize the kind of food they had there. I will be coming back in to see her as she made me feel very welcome. I do not see where the previous posters are so down on this place. I will be coming back to see my new favorite bartender. " - - mike

10/28/2008 "..Reading the reviews of TMC is very depressing. There is no doubt there is a serious lack of leadership in regards to management. Does anybody remember the good old days of TMC? Who were the people managing it in the mid 90's? They need to lure them back or bring them out of retirement. It was so much classier and organized back then. The dancers used to be a step above not just any other place in town, but anywhere in the country. TMC still has some beautiful dancers that are very classy but many of them seem like they are not managed or trained on ways to bring in repeat business. In the old days the dancers seamed to be equally as worried about the customers experience and image of the club as they were about making money. It's going to take a strong new management team to get things even close to what it used to be. It seems every time they get a good staff member you come back in to see them and they've been fired. You later see them in other clubs and they seem much happier. They have one of the nicest facilities in town and the best location, yet they don't do half the business the other clubs do in the area. TMC is a great place that needs new management. " - - Miss the old days

10/19/2008 "..Have not been in TMC in a long time till about a month or so ago(stopped going in due to lack of fun and being so slow). Anyway, so went in and they had a great new, hot bartender!! Fun to hang out with as well as a great to look at. She had moved over there from platinum 2 after the changes......want to say her name wasAngie. Anyway, had a great time and went back in a few days later to see her only to find they had fired her. Bad decision, people really liked her and had fun at her bar. She could really get people pumped up and having a good time. When I find out were she is bartending.......I'll go there! " - sad 2 c her go

10/10/2008 "..Went there with some buddies. I check my credit card statement a few days later to find out our wiatress had added on more tips than I had signed off. This has now been referred, the club is nice, shame about the integrity of the people they hire. Worth a visit! " - - clubber

10/7/2008 "..Well, we tried this place again, and again left disappointed. We heard they brought in a new management group. There was one or two good looking dancers, and many below average (at best) dancers. Two of us ordered food, including the fish "special". It tasted under cooked and fishy smelling. We left to go to another club, and reordered good food. I don't think this place is going to change. We decided to wait and maybe try it again in a few months or so. Its good that there is so many other clubs close by, like Baby Dolls(many girls always) and the Lodge (great food and the best looking dancers in Dallas). " - - Alex

10/6/2008 "..Stopped in last nite after the Cowboys won. Hooray! Was a little bit disappointed to see that the club wasn't packed after the game since they have FREE shuttle service. Can't get that anywhere else. Lots of new faces. Met the new bartender (jackie). She had on a little referee outfit and was a real doll. Great personality and very intelligent. After she served me a few strong drinks I went to hang out with Angelina, a new dancer that has recently come from Asia. This girl is gorgeous, articulate and can sit and have an intelligent conversation. Good hire on both these outstanding females. Will visit again soon to see them both. " - Ruben

9/30/2008 "..Went to The Men's Club after the Cowboys loss to Washington, the place was packed! They had a bunch of REALLY hot waitresses to take care of me and my friends. The drink prices weren't too bad and the dancers were HOT! John and Rhett took really good care of us by making sure we had plenty of girls. Damn this place rocks! " - - Chris

9/21/2008 "..After dancing for 2 years, i met a dashing handsome salesman @ TMC whom i have been married to for 4 years now. I salute TMC for being classy and proffesional enough to attract decent guys. " - - ex stripper

9/18/2008 "..Stopped in on sunday and hadnt' been there in a while. The place wasn't too busy which is a shame since they had all female staff. That's HOT. They should consider keeping it that way. I know if i had a topless bar I'd have all female bartenders. The 2 new girls are hot. Can't remember the names but they were each on the side bars on the main floor. Brunette with pig tails was sweet and the brunette with wild curly hair was very sexy. Rock on! " - - David

9/4/2008 "..Ok so the place has gone downhill a bit but at least they hired a smoking hot bartender. Frankly I was tired of looking at fat ugly guys behind the bar. Little latin number by the name of Jaki (she graciously spelled it for me) ha! This girl is SEXY and has skills behind the bar.. Definitely worth going back to see her. If your lucky she'll show you her rockin' backpeice. " - - Roger

9/2/2008 "..I visit the Mens Club about three to four times a month it is still beautiful inside, beautiful woman, everyone was helful. The managers from the G.M. down to Rick and Adam , treat everyone as equals. I will always return to this club because of them and the great service provided by the staff. " - - Ben

8/27/2008 "..I visited on Sunday and it was better than the other clubs I had went to. Hot dancers and great staff! " - - joe

8/24/2008 "..We just dropped in for a short time-and left for another club. Not much there at 10:25pm " - - Tommy

8/24/2008 "..Went to TMC 8/23/08. The place was crowded and I hung out with a few different girls. The crowed was bumping and going. A couple wana-be hood rats that were just good ole customers. The drinks were strong! " - - Omar

8/16/2008 "..I was skeptical by the people who told me how expensive it was here. What i found out is that they are actually about the same. Except they make strong drinks, the food is amazing and the girls treat you like a regular even if you arent. " - - danny

8/16/2008 "..I went to this site to give a review on a recent club. What I saw was a bunch of people who must nothave even set foot in The Mens Club. While there, I was greeted by one of the hottest wait staff I have seen in a gentlemens club. The next ten minutes set the tone. I had a gorgeous brunette by name of Kim who was articulate and efficient. Following her was a manager by the name of John whose class and education stood out by the level of service and hospitality that was second to none. Lastly the line of girls was excellent. There wasnt the usual hundred average girls rather. The line up was of young college type girls we all long for. The only flaw seen was the vip lounge was very full, and drinks were pricey. " - - Mike

8/9/2008 "..Visited 8/8. Contrary to what I read on this site I enjoyed myself. The club was slower than I had expected for a Friday lunch hour but the food was great. I had the T-Bone that was the special of the day. Food did take awhile considering how slow the club was. But it was cooked to perfection and the drinks were very strong for a strip club. Girls looked like your basic day shift types - one looked very pregnant and looked like she belonged at a seedier club. But there were two exceptions. Beautiful enhanced blondes that drew my attention and looked much more like night girls. Camron and Bailie. Amazing heavy grind dance from the younger of the two Camron. These two ladies the stiff drinks and laid back atmosphere are going to be my reasons for returning. They also had a pool area that was open although no one was using it. Very nice club. Thsi club could be a favorite with more attractive bartenders and waitstaff and need to dump the pregnant woman. " - - Steven

8/6/2008 "..Boy dayshift sure isn't what it used to be. I used to see an English manager really knocking this place into gear. I really enjoyed the "old west" female manager vibe. She always made an effort to fit me with a girl, or fit a girl with a customer. Not like a bordello, but ya' know like a saloon/cowboy/girl deal. It doesn't take much to keep a guy interested. The extra energy is appreciated. Well today was a joke. Some fat day shift bartender, with no people skills or urgency to take care of me. Where did Jose go? Or Jimmy? Those guys never left me hanging. Never took their time to come over. This guy today doesn't belong here. Then again, may I don't either. " - - Nathan Hile

8/3/2008 "..Man. My best bartender is gone. So I sat with just a waitress. Not cool. Atleast I knew when I would go in, Jamie would always monitor my table. Waitress busy? No worries, Jamie would build me a drink, order my food, make it if he had to, and make sure it was rang up. That's why I liked going to the Mens Club. I knew someone would have my back. Never had I enjoyed a place more. Well thats all over now. Went today. Service sucked. Entertainers? There were four. One was pregnant, another had three teeth, the third stayed in the dj booth, and the fourth just sat at the bar and chain smoked. The barkeep? Some drunk Mexican girl with fake tits. Food? Cold shit sandwich, overpriced, should have just stayed home. Best thing about this place? STRONG DRINKS. Nothing else is relevant...unless you want your car washed. That's cool. " - - Jeremiah

8/3/2008 "..Yeah. I can't say that I can even understand managment decisions here. It's really depressing. It's true that they fired one of the better reasons to come here. Jamie was not only a great bartender, but he was a funny, articulate person that bridged the gaps between entertainers and clientele. I don't know how many times that I just dropped in to see the show, and meandered to his or Randy's bar, to wake up the next morning having to remember a great time, irregardless of how much money that I did or did not spend. Never once if either guy was working, was I ever disappointed. For a long time now, entertainers were more miss, than hit, but the bartenders were an excellent reason to come. Jamie and Randy would always know what I was looking for, and at least would take time to comfort me. Go through the food with me, build my drinks of choice, and hunt down at least one girl to come and talk or dance with me. There were times that I would spend alot of money, and times that I wouldn't, but I always felt like they both held me in grand regard. " - - Aaron Tinley

8/1/2008 "..This place is horrible. I've given it so many chances, and why I did it again, I just don't know. Anyways, I went for lunch. I had no waitress initially. I walked up to the bar, and after waiting for the chubby bartender to take his sweet time each and every round, I instead got a waitress. The ashtrays just sat there, my empty glasses piled up, and after waiting an eternity for my food, I GAVE UP. I don't know what they think they are doing, you figure a club would at least try to entertain their clientele with at least good service. It's not just about entertainers being pretty. As far as I'm concerned, they can kiss my ass. I will never go back. You get better service at the Post Office. " - - Jim

7/26/2008 "..7/25/08 I was in town for the weekend on business and this club had been recommended to me by a friend of a friend. However, upon attempting to enter, I was informed (after they initially took my money) that they don't allow 'single' females. They DID give me my money back (I'm not sure why they took it in the first place since I was obviously by myself). There are several other clubs within a stone's throw of this one....and one of them got my money! " - - Legs

7/25/2008 "..Do not step foot in this place. Management is killing the buzz in here. They continue to make steps that go against the grain of competition. They do not appreciate your dollar. They could care less about happy employees. Nor do they care if you have a good time. I was told once again, that if I don't like it I can leave. While this may be true, I just don't believe it to be right. Hell I've been here longer than nearly all of 'em. It's not about cheap drinks, or easy dancers, it should be about at least attempting to try and appease your clientele, even if its just appearance only. " - - Kevin

7/24/2008 "..What is going on in this place ? It's a titty bar, not a damn morgue. Man this place used to have so much energy. I actually spent the night hardly breaking a hundred. No dancers, no waitresses, no nothing. " - - Clueless

7/23/2008 "..What is going on in this place? Just try and ask someone a simple question and noone wants to talk about it. Where did my bartender go? What happened? It's almost like there is a sort of fear factor involved. As well, you can clearly see their faces fall when even discussing the subject. Why on earth this club still has the same upper management I have no idea. The waitresses are terrible, unless you stick with the ones most tenured. None of the staff is inspired to enjoy their jobs anymore. The menu is blase'. The drinks overpriced. And where in the hell did Jamie go ? Randy too ? It takes a lot to make a club fun, but it doesn't take much to make it miserable. Seriously guys, go somewhere else. " - - Brian

7/21/2008 "..No way. This place has completely lost its mind. Bartender Jamie is gone, and thus now we know why their liquor sales rival the 30 year old Million Dollar. Now its painfully relevant that until the Men's gets new direction, and hires a GM that has a clue, I WILL NOT BE BACK. The waitresses are horrible, the dancers clueless, and nobody seems to care anymore. " - - John

7/2/2008 "..Where the hell is JAMIE ??? What's going on in the Men's? How can you let the best bartender in the city leave ?? Have you completely lost your minds over there ? " - E

6/23/2008 "..A fight on the front porch, a bartender beats up a drunk customer, they knock a hole in the building and steal an ATM machine, a manager is beat up by two known individuals in the VIP....what's it going to take? A stabbing or shooting before whoever owns the place gets rid of those managers-starting with the balding gm thats never there and the girl manager and her "Erin's Ghetto Gang", as the people who work there call them. 1 star for cheap prices 2 stars for drama 3 stars if you like reality violence 4 stars if you have an innocent bystander death wish 5 stars wondering when and what is going to happen next A few waitresses and a couple dancers no longer feel safe there and have either left or will be leaving soon Thats it, we're done with the place " - Bill

5/23/2008 "..5/23/08 great to see that this club finnally has a hot chick bartender. Blonde hot body female bartender that not only looks great but knows what she is doing behind the bar. Visted the club monday night and this young lady made me some of the best martini's I have ever had. Bravo to the Mens Club for getting back to the TMC of old. I look forward to going to Mens much more often now that I know about the hottie behind the bar. thanks for moving in the right direction. " - -

4/24/2008 "..Very lame. The dancers were average to below average, and for a night visit, there were not many customers there either. We had a good waitress who took care of us and we didn't have to search for her to order more drinks-good service. We asked her why it was noticeably slow and she said it has been that way for quite awhile. She said many dancers and customers are now working and frequenting another club just down the street. We asked her if we should go there and if we did, would we have a better time? Surprisingly, she said "probably", Will give the Mens club one star for the waitress referral. " - - TNT Tom

2/26/2008 "..If it wasn't for Jamie, the bartender, I would not step foot in TMC. There are too many clubs with more to offer. " - - manno

2/24/2008 "..went over tmc on friday, it was kind of slow. my favorite batender, louie, was working, few entertainers, music was on kind of loud, tv's had golf on one channel so that was kewl. waitress was kind of busy, buffet was ok, can do better, knowing chef paolo, had a jello shot for $4.50 was very strong and was a good suggestion by entertainer kate and louie. i will definitely go back since if the bartender said is true i will go back (cheaper drinks coming soon, so stay tune) " - - tom

2/21/2008 "..Jamie is a fine bartender. Perhaps they should have not over served the intoxicated customer. Would the fight have happened if the customer was NOT intoxicated? I am somewhat surprised with "David's" (below) review. This is the reason we, friends and business associates, no longer visit the Men's Club. Too much negative. We have witnessed manager Maurine fighting with the head cook-with glasses and dishes flying: two separate groups(gangs?) admitted, in spite of their clothes, and almost clashing; a fight on the front porch between a muscular black man in a suit, and what appeared to be a hispanic or middle eastern man; a manager pushing a customer through the doors, just missing going through the glass portion, which would have resulted in severe lacerations; that young female manager arguing with customers and waitresses on the main floor: and on more than one occasion, hearing the manager say, "if you don't like it ,get the F*** out..". No, we do not frequent clubs to watch arguing and fighting. We frequent clubs to have a good time, see attractive ladies, enjoy (freshly cooked) good food, listen to good music, and knowing that management appreciates our business. All the Men's club lacks. The dark cloud continues to be over the Men's Club. " - - onlyabusinessman

2/17/2008 "..Made a visit to TMC this weekend and when I thought this place could be anymore dead it was. There were only 20-25 girls working with most of them being in the 4-7 range with one or two 8s and they even had one girl who was an absolute zero because she didn't even bother to wear dancer high heels or even dancer-type clothes at all! The only consistent point about the club is the food which has always been great every time I've gone there. The management, DJs, bartenders, etc. can only do so much when Frank the GM doesn't care about the place and only goes to work for 15-20 hours a week just to enjoy his wine cellar and yell at the workers there in front of everybody. He's driven away far too many talented girls and made a huge blow to this club a few weeks ago when he drove away their top customer and with it at least 5-6 of their top dancers. It created a huge domino effect at the club that made even more dancers leave have gone to either Executive Club, Baby Dolls, or The Lodge. I don't see this place lasting much longer until Frank the GM gets the boot especially when you have managers who actually care about the club doing well. Rick is back on board at TMC so I hope that he turns somehow turns this place around because it looks like it's on a deathbed right now. " - -

2/7/2008 "..Wow. My favorite bartender just demonstrated to me why I go to the Men's Club. One of the most friendly, entertaining, and accomodating bartenders that I know there.....Jamie...got a complete cheap shot from some idiot drunk in his face. I never knew the guy to ever get angry at anyone since I've been going there for the last two years. Wow again.......did I ever see a demonstration of a complete skillfull demonstration of boxing skills on the idiot that busted his nose without warrant. Man! Excitement at its best. HaHa. I'm going to hang with that guy just because I know he can help me out if I ever get taken advantage of by a drunk yoyo myself. Poor guy. I felt bad for him. Bad things do happen to good people. What the hell? Just go in there and see him. He would deserve your tip even without the sympathy of this story. " - - David

1/30/2008 "..The VIP clientele at this club have plenty of cash and anyone who thinks otherwise is disillusioned. To say that is laughable... The average walk-in customer might not have as much to spend but anyone with an IQ above a kumquat knows thats because management has targeted demographics with virtually no disposable income. (i.e. $1 dollar drinks for happy hour doesn't attract the right crowd to sustain a gentlemens club) As pointed out on this board the primary reason for the decline in this club is the apathy of management toward both the entertainers and members and a lack of advertising/marketing. This attitude has now trickled down to the bartenders. It's obvious and a shame. The solutions reside with management. That's what they are on payroll for. In the meantime, the members of this club will continue to spend their money at other clubs in the city, which is obviously the reason why other clubs are doing better. I know I frequent most of them on a weekly basis. " - done with it

1/28/2008 "..I recently visited this club. Yes, it has gone down a little, unfortunately the clientele is not as rich as it used to be but the girls and the club itself is and are still beautiful. But, I strongly believe that is because of the negativity of the male customers and male bartenders. Not an hour went by when I did not hear someone bash women. If you want a woman to treat you nice then you must start out nice! Reason girls leave is because they are on the constant search for that one club that protects them when the customer is aggressive. They want to party and have fun. They leave because the constant bashing and blaming of women for all the problems in the world is not fun. Dancers are tired of being fondled. In Dallas, it is the trend to bust the girl and not one manager will stop the customer. As a man this is great customer service but I would like to see a dancer stay for a little longer than they do in one club. Doesn't even sound like a man wrote this. May be wrong but sounds more like a dancer. " - customer

1/28/2008 "..I visited this past friday night and this club is still showing signs of further decline. Most of the entertainers are average to below average now. I've visited some of the other local gentlemen's clubs in the area and most of the cute girls that were here are working elsewhere now. (i.e. Executive club or the Lodge to name a few) The bartenders have become unfriendly, especially toward members. Perhaps that's due to the decrease in spending that some members are exhibiting because of the lack of privileged treatment some of us deserve. After speaking with some of them that night it seems I'm not alone. Like others, I'm about out of patience with this place and it's lack of energy or willingness to change the direction of decline. There are only so many chances you can give a place. I stayed for about an hour, got bored and went to Executive where I had a blast. I'll also so that Silver City seems to have a majority of the girls that use to work here with all the energy that one expects from an adult club. The disappointment continues... " - - done with it

1/23/2008 "..Good location, easy to find. Plenty of parking with valet available. Nice building. Interesting gift shop with a selection of sex toys-somewhat surprising. A underfed skinny lobby girl, who does not smile, harrassed us about our Houston Mens club membership. They do not keep good membership records. Not many dancers and the ones they had looked like rejects from other clubs. A "ghost faced" girl manager with white and black hair, was talking trash and arguing first with an employee and later with an older man. Absolutely no class what so ever. Although later, the managers seemed to be having more fun than the customers. We have a friendly wager in Houston. Is this manager Frank the same manager that ran the Houston club into the ground several years ago? I bet no. There is no way they would rehire him. " - bob

12/8/2007 "..Went to Mens Club after a long day of flying Wednesday. I cannot believe the level of class this club has dropped to. The door girl was friendly and I assumed everything would be good. It took forever for a waitress to ask me if I would like a drink. One guy, whom I found out was a Manager, almost ran me over when I was walking to the restroom. Didn't even allow me to pass without brushing up against me rudely. The girls were ok, just no one on stage. There was hardly anyone on stage for me to tip. I looked around and all of the employees weren't even concerned that the show was horrible. I began to wonder if I was at a strip club. I going to be in town next week with a few clients and the Mens Club is where I will not be taking them. Very displeased. " - - Mike Lawson

8/4/2007 "..I was a waitress at TMC, and now a casual customer with friends. I thought I would offer a review from my friends perspective, as well as from my own experiences. Yes, the club has declined over the past few years and there is no other explanation for this decline other than management. The GM garnishes little or no respect from the entire staff, except from a few with other interests. He cares only about wine, his hobby, and working out. As a GM of an establishment that is open for business 7 days a week, it is astonishing that he puts in less than 40 hours a week at the club, and takes vacation trips 3 or 4 times a year. When two long time loyal employees went to him about a serious problem with a female manager, he took action against the two by firing them. Sometime later, there was a wholesale revolt by numerous employees for the same questionable actions by this female manager and he was forced to let her go. The leaders of this revolt have all been later terminated. He feels threatened by quality managers and has hired people that are totally unqualified for management positions that has much to do with the public customers. Its been discussed and suggested by a few, that his low regard for valued customers and very important regular customers, stems from his time in Las Vegas as a manager. He may wrongfully believe that new customers are flying in every day. This is Dallas and not Las Vegas, and he has alienated many customers with his, "If you don't like it, get the F*** out of here". The new female manager was a sweet girl at one time, but unfortunately, her position has changed her. I can not help feeling sorry for her, for all the behind her back comments that are made about her. She also garnishes little respect and the staff just hates her ghetto friends that come in later at night. Along with the "small man complex" manager, they are in over their heads, and are at the pinnacle of their careers. Does anyone seriously believe they will go on to a better career position? As one funny ex customer said, "she is like a turtle on a fence post". You know she doesn't belong there, you wonder how she got there, she doesn't know what to do there, and you just want to help her get her dumb a** down from there!! There are still a few really great people working at TMC, that really care about the club, and are concerned about the direction the club is going. I truly wish that so many of the customers they have lost would come back, along with the many classy dancers that are now at another club. I trust some day soon, corporate management, or even ownership, will first recognize, and then take action to correct the direction TMC is headed. It has so much potential to be one of the better clubs in Dallas again. In " - anonymous waitress

7/20/2007 "..(Early June to present) Here is my detailed report based on the seven times I have been there: Early June: My first time here in a few months and the quality has gone down considerably. It was on a Saturday night around midnight and was not as packed as I thought it would be. I saw twenty entertainers at most and a great majority of them did not bother asking if I wanted company. I had to flag down a bouncer by the name of Pierre to get me entertainers that fit my criteria. He did this twice for me and is a stand up guy to say the least. My first entertainer (I forgot her name, but have not seen her there since) was hospitable enough and give a good heavy grind lap dance. The other entertainer was easily the best looking girl that night (her name is Belle) and she gave me a great heavy grind lap dance. First week of July: The worker that checks IDs and takes our money (fairly thin brunette) seemed disinterested and gave us a cold shoulder. She has done this to me every time I have gone there and it irritates me a bit. We were seated quickly and given our drinks in short order too by a waitress named Jean. TMC was busy that night and she managed to check up upon us every ten minutes and not once did I have to flag down another waitress or bouncer to get her. Like every other time I go here, I only see about twenty-five entertainers on the main floor and that is being generous. Again, most of the entertainers seemed disinterested or tried to hustle me. I got a lap dance from an entertainer named Mandy and gave me a decent heavy grind dance. During that week on two different days: I came in on Tuesday night and immediately had an entertainer at my table uninvited. Her name is Rachel, and had nothing on besides red lingerie, a fake smile and laugh. There were no other girls that piqued my interests so I went along with it for the next twenty minutes talking to her, until she demanded that I pay her money for the company. I was infuriated, but kept my calm and ended up paying way less of what she demanded and got a lap dance. It had to be the worst lap dance I have gotten, as she once again gave me a fake smile and no grinding at all. I talked to one of the managers there and he just gave me answers to ward me off which aggravated me even more. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth and once again, there were hardly any other girls there that piqued my interests, so I left immediately. The last night I bought along a friend of mine and had a blast. Our waitress, Leslie, was really amicable with both of us and tended to us very often. I stepped out for a minute or two and when I returned we had an entertainer at our table. She was an extremely friendly and talkative curvy brunette by the name of Reagan. We ended up talking for the new two hours and I got a few lap dances from her. She gives excellent heavy grind lap dances with a great route and was always enthusiastic during all of it. A week later: Once again, Leslie was nice and amicable as always but there were a few times where I had to get a bouncer to service me. Most of the girls there (twenty at most) were busy with random customers and my preferred entertainer was busy with a VIP member. One of the managers got real snooty with us when my friend and I sat at a reserved table and asked us to move. Pierre, once again, was a stand up guy and made it his first priority to light up my cigar. i ended up with a decent looking entertainer by the name of Zeta(?) and probably had the best routine out of all of the entertainers that have danced for me. Mid July: Leslie once again had to be called a few times by the bouncers to my table, but I do not mind too much as she gave me my drinks in short order afterwards and is always cheery around me. Reagan once again was hospitable and friendly as ever; we talked for a bit, than she gave me excellent lap dances until close and was into it. During the week after: I went during a shift change to see a variety of entertainers but once again, I was disappointed with the lack of staff there. I saw at most fifteen entertainers and none of them piqued my interests. I settled on a petite and blonde entertainer by the name of Amanda and tried to put a huge lay/hustle on me. She was not much of a conversationalist and lied repeatedly to me during her hustle which is a huge pet peeve of mine. She gave a decent lap dance and I left shortly there after. Once again, the front desk girl (the brunette) was cold as ever, but the curvy blonde one that preceded her was very nice to me. All in all, I am disappointed at the current modus operandi of the club. Very few girls even on the weekends, rude management, expensive drinks ($6 for a bottle of water, $8-$15 for mixed drinks or shots), a lot of hustlers, and the overall vibe of the club was off. I only go there for Reagan now and if she was not there anymore, I would not bother with TMC. The only good things I can say about this club is that Pierre is a total class act of a bouncer and has helped me out quite a few times. Jean and Leslie are also good waitresses that made my time more bearable there. The bartenders are also real hospitable guys, especially Randy. " - - Les Soldat

7/14/2007 "..Ten bucks for a beer??? Cmon dude....try 7 dollars at night.....and that's an import......maybe you should come in from 5 to 7 during the week....when domestics are 2 dollars. Come in then....and get your drink on and gone....before I get there at 9. Again.....I wish this site could be 100% review and 0% diatribe from peeved cheap skates. " - - Damn

7/8/2007 "..July 7, 2007~ The Men's Club is a elegant looking enviroment and is very pricey! Beer is $10.00 a bottle and dances at the table seem to be a little expensive too. However, there were two ladies that we will remember in a very positive way...Lacy and a very tall attractive and friendly black lady. They were very professional and outgoing ladies that helped not only us but other guests feel like we were important! " - - Michelle

7/2/2007 "..When you buy a membership to a club, you have every reason to believe and expect to be treated as a member, a valued part of the club, whether it be a strip club, dinner club, golf club, hunting club, or any other type club. You expect the offerrings to be no less than when you joined. You should reasonably expect the offerrings to improve. Not so at Mens club. This goup of self serving managers have ended the popular Football Picks forms that so many anticipated coming out on Thursdays for the upcoming NFL games on Sundays and MNF. Many groups of guys would discuss their picks, make friendly wagers of "buying a round", and meeting again Monday night at Davids bar to watch the MNF game for bragging rights- Gone. A little token extra of your membership with the "members drink"-Gone. The buffet scaled back to what amounts to a Stouffers Birds Eye purchased pre-cooked buffet. The number, a reasonable number, of guests you can bring in-Gone. Who knows how many guests you can bring in now days? One, two, or none??? Good look'n ladies-Gone. A friendly atmosphere-Gone. Very popular Loyal hard working employees-Gone. I have a few buddies that won't renew their annual membership, or upgrade to a Lifetime- why should they?? So glad there are so many other clubs close by that value customers, dancers, and employees. " - Dave

7/1/2007 "..Counterpoint to "Damn's" review below: No, this isn't a diatribe about management or about harkening the days of old and reveling in what was with the club. This is a review board where patrons post their views on the current problems of the club, which is distinctly different than talking about "just changing with the times". The solution isn't to just "change with the times" that's the apathy that a number of VIP's are describing here that could be changed with a modicum of business sense and ingenuity. People are on the payroll of the mens club to offer a service, and it's incumbent on them to be receptive to those who have paid for and expect better, and formulate solutions. The mens club is what management makes of it as there's an obvious market here in Dallas for these clubs...otherwise there wouldn't be so many. Again, this past weekend, I had a bad experience at the mens club where management was being petty and combative with entertainers. I was sitting in VIP and noticed that the entertainer at the table next me was giving a dance. The gentlemen receiving the dance was inebriated, no surprise, and he started getting aggressive with the dancer...and eventually bit her on the backside. The dancer informed management but they quickly dismissed her and told her she could work elsewhere if wanted to make an issue of the situation. This again is another blatant display of management's apathy toward entertainers and the mysterious veil of protection they offer those who don't have memberships and don't belong in the club. It was later discovered that the guy didn't have money to pay her, didn't have a membership, and was there for the drink specials they had offered earlier in the day. Management of the club needs to refocus which demographic they are targeting when promoting drink specials. It's common sense to realize that most guys who are in their early 20's, dressed like a gangsta, and looking for the $3 beer probably doesn't have the disposable income that sustains a gentlemens club. " - - truth_hurts

6/29/2007 "........Visited Men's Club this past week and sat in VIP. A butch looking blonde waited on me. Very attentive, but not what I would expect a VIP waitress to look like. Can't really remember her name, Although I was not impressed with her, I was very impressed with a few of the dancers. TMC is definitely not wha I remember it being several years ago. " - mercedesman

6/29/2007 "..Not much fun, few options, fewer hotties, good tvs, good prices " - - Aftergolf

6/28/2007 "..I've dropped in here three or four times in the past year and every time, it's essentially the same experience: it appears that no more than four or five girls are working and usually, you'd rather not see half of them undressed. Table service is very poor. The waitresses -- whom I've only seen from afar -- tend to be much more attractive than the entertainers. And I've yet to even have the chance to buy a lap dance because the entertainers seem to vanish once they leave the stage. " - Digger

6/28/2007 "..Not very impressive, and I agree with many of these reviews. The place is not what I remembered from a visit years ago. If you can't place responsibility on management, what is the reason for this place being such a negative vibe place? Blame the bartenders-no they are great. Waitresses-no, busboys-no. Two drinks for me, one drink for a dancer, one table dance, and one stage tip, and I left to go to another place. " - - Tony the Tiger

6/28/2007 "..The Men's Club is still a great place to kick back and have a good meal. The day shift is not what it used to be, but from 7pm - midnight it starts to get fun. If you are new to the club hang out at the long bar as soon as you come in and ask the bartenders for information like Jaime and Lou. These guys make the experience fun. Well if you ever see a dancer named Lily you need to get dance. " - - Iceman411

6/27/2007 "..I would agree with "Damn's" comments about change. Change is inevitable and how we adapt to change measures our successes. Change can be for the better, or for the worse. The Men's Club has changed from its "Roaring" Days. The industry has changed...not necessisarily for the best. There are some aspects of the club I don't like: a) Music played too loud to the extent one cannot carry on a normal conversation. b) "Members Lounge" is members in name only. Anyone and everyone comes in and are not challenged for membership. The "dress code" is not enforced. So many slopply dressed people are let in Members Lounge. Its elegance is tarnished. However, the management and staff are very courteous and friendly to me. Paolo is a "magician" in the kitchen and the food is excellent. Notwithstanding my aforementioned irritants, I enjoy my visits to the club. I just have to adapt to its changes. " - - VIP Member

6/27/2007 "..Dropped in on a weekend night and sat at the big bar with a bartender named Randy. Not very many people there and it was a weekend night. I met talked and bought a stripper a few drinks and we decided to do a few dances in a back booth. We sat there for less than a minute and a manager told me the booths were reserved for Bottle service. I told him I was drinking beer out of a bottle and he said that doesn't matter. Whats the problem? No one else was sitting there and the club was sparce of customers any way? We moved to a table and after one dance this same dimunitive manager with a high level of self importance rudely came up and whispered in the stripper's ear as I was sitting there. After he left, I asked if everything was ok? She said he wanted her to go sit at another table with other customers and she didn't want to go. She said he would hit her up and expect a tip for this referral. This jerk manager's name is Mike or Michael. After a few more drinks and dances I moved back to Randy's bar. The building gets 3 stars, the rude manager gets minus 2 stars, the lack of a party time atmosphere gets a minus 1 star, and the great service and entertaining bartender Randy adds a plus 3 stars. " - Greg

6/23/2007 "..Geez !!! I have to admit to being peivy to a conversation with my fellow drinking buddies....I also have to admit that your site is now unfairly weighted to these individuals using your "review" section to strike back at management at the Men's Club....three of my "buddies" are upset that they don't get their asses kissed by the new managers....they revel of the days of old....when they had more money....and THE MENS CLUB was the only place in town. I have to say....that everything changes. No matter how long a place exists....times change....people change. I like THE MENS CLUB....I go there or I go to THE LODGE....but, I have to admit my favorite being TMC. Everyone treats me great. I SPEND MONEY! That's what you do when you go to these places....not sitting on your ass...upset that noone pays attention to you like they did ten years ago. Guess what? .I KNOW YOU....and next post will list your names. Pathetic! Leave this bulletin board as a forum of ratings.....not your personal vendetta column. " - Damn

6/21/2007 "..I didn't believe that WTW below would write a review so I had to check for myself. He's a real reserved kinda guy. I was one of the guys with him that day. I refused to order a drink other than the glass of water, which they charged us for any way. The waitress was really sweet, especially to apologize for that snot nose little girl manager-whats her problem? How about "Are you members?" You're welcome to stay in here this time....would you be interested in a membership..?" W toned it down a bit. He forgot to mention this cute little bartender with a pearly white teeth smile dropped by the table when she saw us on her way to the bathroom and also apologized and added she would have liked to have waited on us. Her name was Ashley, and our local guy told us she either quit or got fired-not to surprising. What is surprising is that employees are apologizing for management-its usually the other way around isn't it? We should have viewed this site before we waisted our time with this place. " - Brent

6/18/2007 "..Several months ago, I picked up two out of town associates at DFW. They were in town to survey and finalize agreements with a Hotel, restaurants, and other facilities for our upcoming Trade Show and Convention. It was decided that we would drop by the Mens club to relax and discuss our next few days of meetings. There was few people there, which was surprising since it was just past the noon hour. We walked straight to the members/vip area and sat down at a table. There was one man at the bar, and the table next to us was occupied by what appeared to be the bartender, a waitress, and what we learned later was the Day shift manager. Within just seconds of being seated, this young female manager asked us with an ugly expression and tone, " Are you all members?" I answered, "No............" and before I could explain to her that we are meeting our local rep who is a member, she shot back, "You're not even supposed to be in here." We got up and sat at a table off to the side by the windows in the main area, and was immediately greeted by a waitress, who apologized for what had just happened. We thanked her and placed our order for two drinks and a glass of water. Not wanting to stay, we finished our drinks and asked for our tab. The waitress brought us our tab and again apologized for this manager, and for having to charge us for the glass of water. We thanked her once again and left. As we were leaving the foyer area, the young pleasant girl at the desk asked us, "Leaving already? ...well.. have a fun time." (We later laughed about this, she apparently knew more about leaving and having a good time versus staying and having a good time). As we walked to our car, we passed this man who said "hi'' with a smile. My associate asked him if he knew of another place close by. He said "yes" and gave us directions to a place just a short distance away, and then asked,"No girls, bad food, loud music, or bad experience?" Once again we laughed and my associate answered. "Yeah.." After a short drive, we arrived, walked in and we were greated with a big smile from the front door hostess. This place was busy with many patrons, waitresses, dancers, and entertainers. We ordered drinks and quickly decided to order lunch after noticing so many lunches being served. We met a very attractive entertainer who use to work at the Mens club. We told her of our experience and she explained to us that management was a real problem there. She went on to tell us, and point out, several other attractive entertainers that left the Mens club, and atleast three or four different groups of men that use to patronize the Mens club on a regular basis. After a wonderful lunch and a few drinks, a manager came by our table and asked if everything was ok. He told us he had heard what happened, and wanted to thank us for coming by. After telling him about our business and about our upcoming Trade Show and Convention, he asked if any advertising was still available, they may be interested. He showed us some examples of their print ads, and to make a short story shorter, we agreed upon an insert print ad, with an incentive promotion. We must have had a good time because we didn't leave until 9:30 or 10:00, and actually coming back another day for lunch and another evening for dinner. What a difference this place was. After this experience with the Mens club, I wrote a letter, using company letterhead,(clearly listing address, telephone number and e-mail address) to the General Manager(Frank) along with a copy to the owner (DF). After several weeks and now a few months, I have not heard back from them by return letter, a short e-mail, or even the courtesy of a telephone call. We wish we would have known about this web site many months ago!! " - WTW

6/16/2007 "..We made a rare visit last week to only take advantage of the cheap prices. Nothing has changed much. The place is full of somber unhappy employees and a low number of customers hoping for an attractive dancer to appear on the stage. After reading these reviews, I guess many others agree with us. We stopped going there on a regular basis many months ago. It speaks volumes of the place, when you see so many of their most popular and classy entertainers working at another club now. We also see many of their old regulars have switched to this same other club in increasing numbers, and we even see many of the Mens Club employees frequenting this same other club on a frequent basis. As everyone knows, "you need to flush the toilet (fire the management), before you can clean it..". We'll give it a one star for the cheap prices. " - - KM

6/14/2007 "..They should change the name to MenZ Club of Dallas-they got Z girls working. The place reminds me of a brand new trash can, good outside appearance, inside not so good. We saw one dancer that was hot, and the rest were not so good. Cheap prices brings cheap customers. They got to be desperate. They must be trying to cheapen the place in hopes of competing with some of the other joints. We would go back, but only for the low drink prices. " - - T

6/13/2007 "..This club used to be the elite gentlemen's club in Dallas. I have some valid and credible opinions with respect to this club, in particular, because I've been frequenting it for the last 9 years. I'm also a lifetime VIP member. After 9 years of patronage I obviously have an invested interest with seeing the club do well, but the fact is, the club is in a seriously declining tailspin. This is obvious when you see apathetic and trite behavior exhibited by management, regardless of the amount of money you spend. For example, the last few weeks I've been going to the club to watch the nba playoffs while partying with one of the entertainers that has been working there for nearly 10 years now, and yes, she's still a hottie. In fact she used to be the face of the club. In the interest of time I had already bought a bottle of champagne and was en route to a fun night with her when she realized she hadn't checked in with the DJ. To avert any problem I offered to buy her way off stage but management was more interested with retaliating against her in the form of a berating argument, which I witnessed. There was a verbal altercation with the manager and he summarily told her that she could work elsewhere if she didn't like what was being said, and that the club would easily survive without her. Since this episode I've spoke to multiple employees who can attest that management does not care about the club, the patrons, or the entertainers. I also get the sense that the owner has lost all interest in the club and therefore this has trickled down to management and wait staff. In light of this here's my observation for the genesis of the severe and abrupt decline of the place over the past few months.
- Club management has marginalized the value of the girls/entertainers.
- The higher quality girls have migrated to other clubs due to poor treatment and have taken their clients.
- The volume of quality girls has decreased so the customer volume has decreased proportionally.
- The current staff of girls are despaired about making money due to the diminished volume of customers who actually have disposable income.
- Word has traveled around quickly that the girls can make money at other clubs in the city without the hassles from management.
- The result is a flat, listless club with no energy or party ambience, which defeats the purpose of an "adult entertainment club".
Possible solutions for the mens club:
- If the owner is indifferent about the club he should sell it for the sake of the paying customers who bought lifetime VIP memberships. Our expectations haven't changed, and we deserve the best if we paid for it.
- Put some funding into radio advertising and marketing. Dallas has the 4th largest radio media market in the nation and a sports talk station where the demographic is 99% male between the ages of 25-55 with truckloads of disposable income. That might be a new goldmine of repeat clients that hasn't been tapped.
- The men's club is the only club in town with a pool and veranda. Summer is here, so why not leverage the pool as a marketing device to drum up new blood or entice old blood to return. The pool is the strongest asset they have right now that gives them a competitive advantage, but isn't being leveraged.
- Treat their current cash cows with more privilege and offer them a few more drink and stogie benefits. Trust me, there aren't many repeat cash cows left...they've migrated to other pastures. If this were to happen we'd share our money more liberally on management, wait staff, etc. But the club has to incentivize us first, not vice versa. It doesn't work that way in any area or industry of retail.
- This is the most important of all of my suggestions. Take care of the entertainers, they're THE lifeblood of the club. Without the entertainers you just have another bar, so swallow your pride and accept this fact. " - - truth_hurts

6/11/2007 "..Whats with all the bitching and complaining? Party at the Mens for what it IS, not what it WAS. The place is not going to change, or they would have changed it years ago. Its a great place! Music bad and too loud? Buy front row tickets to a bad heavy metal band, and then the place won't seem so loud. So what if Frank is only interested in wine? Buy a $200 bottle of wine from a manager, and they"ll say Hi to you next time you come in, and they may even remember your name. You'll get attention and they'll even bring some dancers and waitresses to your table to help you drink it. Can't afford it? Read on (*). Dancers stop complaining-we are tired of hearing about it! Be thankful you are working in a nice place! A few years ago, many of you would not have even been hired there. Try getting hired at one of the other nice clubs if you don't believe us. So what if that girl manager has a dirty mouth? Try to avoid her. It could be her first managers job and shes just learning. She may just be getting experience for a better job as a manager of a cell block at a women's prison? So what that they don't have as many customers as before? You won't lose your bar stool or your table, service will be better and you'll get more attention! So what you don't see many of the old regulars there? Join us in being the new regulars!! (*) Don't buy a membership-save that money to buy the wine and tip the managers-they can get you everything a membership offers.(*)Party on and take advantage of the lowest drink prices in town. With $1.50 and $2.00 drinks you can be a "high roller with a low roller budget". Have 4 drinks and a $8 dollar tab? Tip the bartender/waitress atleast $10 dollars- they'll be more likely to hook you up next time-its easier to give away $2 drinks than $8 drinks.(*) We got dancers who offerred us 3 dances for $40.00 and 7 dances for $100.00-its a buyers market. For all you old regulars who don't go there any more-good for us new guys!! If some more of you old fart regulars stop going there, they may even drop the prices lower. They may even hire a monkey to give the drinks away! Its a great place with great drink prices!! " - - JD

6/3/2007 "..Two friends and I went their again last week, thinking our last visit was just a rare bad day. No one is there except for a few customers and a few not so attractive dancers. I guess the new management is responsible for the decline of this place. Or did it get raided that has kept the customers away? Whats the deal with the foul mouthed girl manager with the two tone colored hair? I hear there's a funny email going around that was written by an employee, something titled MismanageMENt Club of Dallas??? I hope someone posts it sometime. The music is too loud, maybe to take away from the number of customers not there? We didn't even see the regular customers. Our service was good, because they had almost as many employees working as customers. Hope not " - flightplanman

5/25/2007 "..Since someone asked the question in the earlier review i thought i would answer. Well the reason THE MENS CLUB is crap now is because of the GM named Frank. He cares nothing about the club except for his wine cellar. Edited. This is a club review section not a manager critique section. I let your post identify the target of your ire though, I hope that is sufficient. " - james

5/17/2007 "..We use to enjoy coming to the Wednesday buffett atleast three times a month. The buffet seems to have become smaller, and the quality of selections has not been very good. Apparently, many others have noticed this too. The number of men their was a fraction of what it use to be. We use to have to wait for a table. The small bar the windows was not even open, and the VIP room did not even have a bartender. The lone waitress in the vip area was waiting on everyone. Have they become an employee run establishment? It does not appear to have any management. We can remember when this was the best place in Dallas. Is there a reasonable answer as to why this place has declined so much? " - rangerfan

5/15/2007 "..Not a complete disappointment. The bartender was prompt, the beer was cold, and there was two very attractive waitresses. " - - Flightplanman

5/8/2007 ".. The food is average at best and the quality of dancers has fallen to an extremely low level. During my recent visit, there was maybe five customers and only one dancer that was somewhat attractive, at best. " - - crownncoke

5/4/2007 "..The Club was great untill they got rid of all the management that is required to run a sucsessful club. The managers are only concerned with their monetary consumption and not the enjoyment of the customers or girls. Its sad really because I used to LOVE that club and its people. " - - BA

4/30/2007 "..Well you obviously didn't like me listing the owner's name huh? No biggie....he used to make sure this club at least competed. How about listing the GM's name ? Why not? I've been there longer than him.....and I've spent money consistantly there.......so why won't he at least come up and say HELLO ??!! My father spent a load of cash in that place...everyone knew him and his name THEN ! So how about it Frank? Is that why your club sucks? Because you and your owner don't care anymore? I hate coming in and seeing an empty shell of the former best club in America" - J Boudin

4/30/2007 ".. What the hell happened to this place? Sunday.....I can get into VIP if I buy a bottle and give some short guy named Mike a hundo cash? What the hell? I have been a member for quite some time now.....but I can't chill with my friends unless I buy a bottle and give this midget a C note? Gee.......I wonder where that is going to go? Too bad I don't recognize anybody working there anymore.....maybe I could complain to someone whom could do something about it....but then again....as dead as it was.....noone probably cares anyway. your club sucks !! " - J Boudin

4/19/2007 "..Wed. April 18th I visited The Men's Club in Dallas, Texas. It was the evening shift. Nice entrance it didn't seem like a strip club at first. I was with a rather large group and we were seated in the VIP room. The place was busy and our waitress took care of us immediately. I believe her name was Darcy. Being my first time at this club I was impressed so far. I saw a stunningly beautiful woman pass by and I signaled her over, her name was Tabatha. We talked for less than 5 minutes and I asked her where the atm was so she agreed to show me & offered to show me the patio as well. On our way out the door, to the patio, my friend stopped me and mentioned that the entertainer, in his lap, (Aubree) told him to get rid of Tabatha that "she was nuts". I replied with "great that's my kind of girl" he laughed and we proceeded to the patio. I went to the atm, and we headed back inside and up the stairs away from the table my friends sat at. Tabatha gave me a neck & shoulder rub and we engaged in great conversation, she was one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen inside and out. The upstairs had a pool table and hardly anywhere to sit being as busy as it was, so she got us two chairs & made a little area for us to sit. I had a wonderful time with Tabatha and I had asked her why that girl said she was nuts. She replied with " I dont know" & that she'd rather not talk about it, to just have a good time. About 30 min. later we went downstairs to sit in the patio & on the way the dancer Aubree insisted that I sit with one of her friends that I supposedly "had a reservation with this girl" but I just wanted to sit with Tabatha so we walked away again to seek shelter. We sat on a sofa downstairs while 9 or so girls danced for my friends. She kept me company, I was happy but she suggested that we part ways to avoid further problems with Aubree. I could understand because it made me uncomfortable as well. I asked Tabatha if I could speak to a manager about it and she got me a manager immediately. I told the manager that I had just met Tabatha and another dancer (Aubree) was already trying to have her removed from the table & that it was something I felt was without merit. Especially the reference that she's nuts. The manager, I don't recall her name replied with " These things happen in strip clubs & sorry". I didn't think a club of this caliber would allow such things to happen especially when it's brought to their attention. Anyway, as if it wasn't enough that I lost my favorite girl due to a dancer (Aubree) harassing my friends over her presence, the dancers who entertained our group for the remainder of the night over charged us for their dances. We walked out upset to say the least. I would have rated the club 5 stars but not this time around. " - - Eric

12/10/2006 "..Met Melanie on Friday and she is the exact opposite of all the usual stripper stereotypes. She was NOT a hustler and not pushy at all. She was incredibly sweet and kept me company most of the night. I really enjoyed my time with her in vip, which was nice and quiet. Our waitress, I can't remember her name, was wonderful as well and I was really surprised at the quality of the food. I had a great time and I wish I lived in Dallas so I could visit there more often! " - - Mr. Smith

12/7/2006 "..I dropped by The Mens Club for the Wednesday buffet. Great food as always, but what happened to this place? The dancers think they are models when they are strippers for real. Alot of make-up does not hide everything. And they should feed the dancers in the back. Many came by the table and asked if they could join us for lunch. What happened to the class??? " - - Ben There

12/6/2006 "..I was in last week and I was NOT impressed. The dancers were average and the drink prices are way too high. Looks high class, without the class. Food is good as always, just wish the faces were as pretty as they once were. " - - Emmitt

12/5/2006 "..I was there in early november, and a dancer stole my mind, I will be back for shure. " - - jos

11/27/2006 "..The stripper on here is exactly why I stopped frequenting The Men's Club. Absolutely zero class, a long way from what they once were. Looks like it has alot to do with who they are hiring! " - Gentleman

11/27/2006 "..the main thing wrong with this club is the service if your not a regular meaning you go less then 20 times a month they won't give you the time of day I went here on a monday night not a lot of customers there and I was never asked if I wanted a drink a first at any strip club I've been too and I went to a lot also if your not paying three hundreds dollars for a hour in the champagne court they could care less if your there I do not mean the dancers I mean the staff the whole time I was there was never asked if I wanted a drink had to keep getting up and going to the bar myself for a so called five star so called high class establishment their service is pretty bad on the good side the dancers looked good but most of them stayed in the vip area and only came in the main room when it was there time to dance on stage if you are not well known in this place don't bother going " - - dro

11/26/2006 "..Why would we want to win back a customer with such a shitty attitude toward our club? We don't want or need boys like that in our club. We prefer gentlemen. And I only tried to post 5 stars because we are a 5-star club. It made sense to me. " - TMC entertainer

11/25/2006 "..In response to the last comment posted, I would like to say that The Men's Club IS a 5-star club and the guy that said it wasn't probably just said that because he can't afford a club as upscale as TMC. Luckily for him though, BabyDolls is right down the street. I'm sure he'd feel a lot more comfortable in a club of those standards. The Men's Club is a great club with good, clean dancers and an incredible management team. If that Mario guy is so malcontent with TMC he can take his business elsewhere. Our 5-star establishment will do just fine without him. Very productive reply. Good way to win back the customer. As an aside, staff and dancers may post replies to reviews but they may not assign stars to the club. Nice try giving yourself 5 stars.DFWNITES" - TMC entertainer

11/25/2006 "..This club thinks it is a 5-star club. This attitude effects the customer. TMC used to be a premier club will lots of class. After my last few visits, the TMC is a HAS-BEEN! " - - Mario

11/21/2006 "..I visited the Mens club on Thursday. Lots of great looking women, also had a nice meal. Plenty of TVs. Although I did notice that they are now making you buy a bottle of champagne to sit at one of the back booths on the main floor. Usually don't see this kind of thing at the high class clubs. " - Fred

11/11/2006 "..I've been to TMC many times and have always enjoyed it, and my last visit was no exception. From the waitress (pretty girl named Maria) to the wonderful and apparently popular entertainer Melanie to the very attentive and helpful manager that assisted me with cigars (I believe his name was Mike), it was a great experience. I'd recommend TMC to any of my friends who are looking for a classy place to relax with a nice view. " - - HT

10/18/2006 "..Love the hair Melanie. You look great as a brunette or a blonde. Thanks for a wonderful evening. You always make me feel better even if I've had the worst day. To the waitstaff: check on your tables more often. I could only find a waitress every 30-45 minutes. Other than that, TMC is still the best! " - - Danny Boy

9/23/2006 "..Tonight, 9/22, was my first visit to The Men's Club and I was extremely impressed. I couldn't believe how many beautiful women filled the room. Usually at these places there are only about a handful of gorgeous knockouts, but this place was swarming with them! Even the waitresses were hot! I got a few dances from a couple of different girls, but one in particular really stood out from the rest. She was a bubbley brunette named Melanie. She was so cute and lively. Okay, okay...cute doesn't really do her justice. She was a 10! But her personality was so adorable. I felt so comfortable around her. She gave me the most dances out of all the girls. I just couldn't get enough of her! I was also fortunate enough to see her dance on stage. Her stage presence was amazing! She was very sexy. You are immediately drawn to her. Tonight will definitely not be my last time to visit. I have a feeling I'm going to have to take out a second mortgage on house just to support my Melanie habit! " - - David J

9/9/2006 "..I have been frequenting the strip clubs for about four years now and it seems like if you've seen one dancer, you've seen them all. Well all that changed tonight, Friday 9/8/06. I went to The Men's Club and met Melanie. WOW! I have never seen a woman that beautiful in real life. My first look at her was when she was on main stage. A gorgeous, striking, seductive goddess with moves that you can't look away from. Then after waiting in line to tip her, she agreed to come and give me a dance. I can honestly say that it was the best dance I have ever received. " - William

8/5/2006 "..Last night, 8/4, was my first time to visit The Men's Club and I must say I was extremely impressed. The entire club was overflowing with gorgeous dancers and even the waitresses were head turners! The club itself was very nice as well. Very classy and not at all what you would expect of a strip club. I was there for about 20 minutes and then I had the pleasure of meeting Melanie. She was absolutely stunning! She just had a presence about her when she entered the room. I usually prefer blondes, but for Melanie I certainly made the exception. Long, black hair and beautifully tanned skin. A show-stopping body and a face to match! And if that weren't enough, she was wonderful company and her dances were to die for. " - - Danny Boy

7/29/2006 "..I was driving home from work on Friday and saw a banner for the men's club.. decided to go check it out. I sat at the front bar for quite sometime, and there was a whole lot to look at as far as women. Until I met Tessa! Hourglass figure with curves in all the right places... great personality and made me feel like I was the man in the room. I had a wonderful time with her and I had vodka/sodas for $1.50.. I will definitely be there next Friday to see Tessa. " - - Paul

7/14/2006 "..I went to The Men's Club with two of my buddies last night, 7/13. It started out as a usual night at a strip club. That is until I met Melanie. She was so beautiful that I couldn't stop looking at her. She was very captivating and intriguing, and on top of all that, Melanie had the best personality of any entertainer I have ever met. EVER! She was so full of life and energy. I ended up staying the entire night! " - - Nick

7/8/2006 "..Visited TMC on Thursday 7/6 and Friday 7/7. I don't frequent the strip clubs, but I had an amazing time and it was all thanks to knockout named Melanie. She's gorgeous with long, dark hair and a killer body and had the personality to match. She accompanied me on both nights. She was able to carry on an intelligent conversation which is not something you find too often in topless bars. She made me feel as if she genuinely enjoyed sitting with me. I never once felt like I was being "hustled." But even if I was, her table dances would have been well worth it. Very erotic. The wait staff was pretty good too on both nights. Overall my TMC experience was great and I look forward to my next visit. " - - Dick-E

5/1/2006 "..Had lunch at TMC today (Monday). Food: "Strip and Dip" (two huge butterfly shrimp and a generous Filet Mignon cooked to perfection... and a loaded baked potato, all for $9.99. Awesome! Drink: 1 bottled beer (no draught) $5.00. A couple of iced teas <$2.00 ea. and a couple of refills <$1.00 each. Club: Hasn't changed as far as atmosphere, except DJ was really good- meaning he didn't get in the way of the show, or become obnoxious like so many are prone to do. Comfy chairs, my table was wobbly, but otherwise, everything was in good order. Waitresses: My waitress was asian and sooooo cute/sexy! Did a great job. Others I notices were attractive women in nice sexy outfits. I miss Andrea, my ATF waitress. Desert: I had a tall (5'10") blond with blue eyes introduce herself as Annika (sp?). Porcelain skin, soft and smooth, well proportioned, all natural, nice sexy outfit, great stage dancer. We hung out for the afternoon. Easy talker, I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Got three dances from her. Could have let her dance for me all afternoon, but sanity kicked in. Very nice- classy, but sexy- not a prude, but not a nasty girl either. Just my type. I saw several other very nice looking girls working as well. Not a lot of girls, not a lot of customers, but it seemed to be working out for everyone. Got a bit smokey toward the end. Strange as there were not a lot of customers. Wonder if the smoke eaters were not turned on? Overall, my favorite club again. " - - Shadow
