6/7/2010 "..went in on my regular day, which is sunday.. Havent been in a few months.. Very disappointed to find out my bartender on day shift, Brittney is no longer there. I have been a regular customer of hers for 2 years now, she is very attractive & outgoing! She is the only person i come to see, so i will not be returning. You should see what they replaced her with... a train wreck!!!! One of Brittney's good friends Kimmy, which is a waitress was very upset about this and said she was wrongfully terminated. I do know alot of her customers will probably not be returning to this club anymore. When i went in sunday I was treated like shit and pressured by the manager & bartender on dayshift to buy bottles of liquor and trying to get me to spend alot of money, something of which Brittney wouldve never allowed to happen. The drinks i did buy were very weak and shots were not even a full shot.. I do not know where they found these bartenders, but they apparently have NO experience. The dancers there on Sunday all were UGLY & fat, and begging for drinks!! Normally i sit at the bar all day but since Britt wasnt there i decided to sit on the floor, BAD mistake!! The only good thing out of that was the company of sweet asian waitress Kimmy, which i do believe she said she wouldnt be there too much longer since they let Britt go...I also had the pleasure of seeing several drug deals go down between girls and their so called "promoters" they have for the club. This place sucks & i WILL NOT be returning!!!! " - Eddie

3/6/2010 "..Gotta say its been a while since I was at Lipsticks but the new changes are real nice. Theyve cleaned up the place alot since I was here last time and they got some new people I have to talk about. This used to be a real ghetto place where the guy at the next table was probably the dancer on stages manager aka pimp, then they had this weird idea to go latin to I guess compete with Chicas Locos in Arlington or something, but now they got it right. Its a small space to begin with but they have it kind of classy now but not uptight like Lodge or Mens Club. it's comfortable there now. The new day manager Jon was cool. Funny guy jokin with the girls and bartenders and he was getting massaged by a Asian waitress. the guy was real laid back and talked to me for a couple minutes- funny guy- he had me laughin and he looks like the dude who was the bad guy king in Princess bride. They got a new deejay named Chris or Curtis I'm not sure which but he was amazing. Dude looks just like the science kid on Dollhouse but with short spiky hair. Talked real sexy about the girls callin them gorgous goddess and alwys mentioned when a guy tipped, made the dude's smile and give him a thumbs up or he'd make em laugh and have fun when they got up to tip. made me really want to tip too which I don't usually do but did that day just for the special attention and shout out from Dollhouse guy. he was funny too and smart funny not crass or lame jokes and he played the best music I've heard in a strip joint in my 10 years of comin to em. He was spinning stuff I have only just started hearing on the radio all the new hits. he had all the latest tracks and some old faves I couldnt help but sing along to and his mix was fearless with r&b and rap and rock and roll and latin and techno and a little country but not too much of any one kind of music it was something for everybody. You know strip joints, you either get 50 ACDC songs in a row or just boring put me to sleep slow jams but not this guy- a perfect fun sexy energy mix! the girls wouldnt shut up about him and for a good reason cause the flow of his show just felt perfect and I havent seen the girls so energetic and happy onstage in so long. They use to just kind of walk around for a minute then just get on all fours and back up to the edge to bounce their ass but for this guy's music and talking they did some real dancing it was a show! Loved it! he was talkin about the food too which i'd never tried before but did that day- they got a 4 doller menu at lipsticks and the dee jay was right. the food was really really good and tasty and well worth the 4 bucks. i got something else you never get at a strip joint, a fair deal! Good cooks there. Now lets talk about the girls. The girl at the door was friendly and had a great rack but i really didnt talk to her much but she was drinkin with some guys they seemed to like her cause she was all over them grinding and hugging and she was taking pictures with them too. The bartenders were pretty cute- a nice blond named Brittany who was very friendly and a bruunet named Angel who seemed kind of cold at first but it was just her sense of humor. she was alright once i figured her out. The waitresses were good an very friendly and cool with me. the Asian one who was rubbin Jons back was a hoot cracked me up fierce. The dancers have changed at Lipsticks too. They range from some bigger girls to some skinny and there was white black and Hispanic girls. They had a really good mix of ladies there. The hottest girl was Breena this brunett with a JLo ass and the best face I ever seen. There was a Hispanic girl named Ryan who had one of the hardest finest bodies ever physical perfection but she intimidated me a little bit. Real sweet girl but I was afraid she'd hurt me, in a good way, if I got a lapdance. there was a crazy girl named Miliieon, either black or mixed with real long legs and a great face. She was super funny and cool but not the best lapdance unfortunutly. hottest lapdances was this hispanic girl Donna and a white girl named Sugar who both really know how to please a man in the VIP. The Breena girl was booked solid with other guys so I didn't get to get a lapdance with her but next time I'm comin early and gettin her right away. The day time was great but I have to say things went downhill when it turned 7 o clock. The night time dee jay was some guy in a suit who was your typical strip club mushmouth who I couldnt understand a word and he played that boring old mix and about 10 songs in a row I'd just heard Curtis or Chris play, I gotta find out that cat's name. but the night time dude just didn't have that thing the day guy had. The night managers were very busy runnin around so I never got to talk any of them and there was an older Middle eastern guy in a grey suit that must be the big boss cause he stood in the corner with his arms folded and everybody seemed scared of him. I only met one of the night bartenders, another Brittany and she had a record player tattoo on her arm and she was pretty hot and awesome with me. There was like 15 dancers on the day time but only like 4 at night. maybe they had more come in but the energy just dropped off the cliff when Breena Millieon Donna Ryan Sugar the rest of the day girls and the deejay left. There was a smokin hot night time white dancer named Pixy who was hilarious and tall but she wasn't enough by herself to keep me there so I left before 9. I'll come back to Lipsticks for sure to snag Breena early and to hear Dj Dollhouse's show and to try another dish off the menu. Lipsticks will be my regular lunchtime spot from now on. 12/20/2009 "..Went back to the Stick after an absence. Wow have things changed. Some for the better most for the worse. First of all there's now no smoking (city of Dallas ordinance I was told). Went during the day and didn't recognize a soul except for a waitress. All new bartenders ($2.50 well drinks which is good)they were fairly friendly, one of them obviously new to bartending altogether. Doorgirl was rather large and had an attitude. Got there kind of early evening and dancers were all over the board some were solid 7-8 range and others should have retired years ago. Some black, some white, and some latina dancers so a pretty good mix. Both day and night DJ's pretty much sucked. Dayshift managers were pretty friendly and said hello. They had a happy hour food menu that was $4. Food was probably the best part. Shift changed at 7pm and there were some pretty ladies and some pretty ugly ones. I recognized the night time guy bartender. Then the night managers came in and the head guy walking around in a suit is like Hitler. Recognized him from another club. Was told the club had a new owner or partner. Saw what I was told is the new owner in the corner booth up top with what appeared to be his 12 year old grand-daughter. The 15 or so customers that were there on Dayshift pretty much thinned out around 8. Overall this club is pretty much a dive. Didn't see much mileage for the lap dances. Alot of latino music and hip hop sounds like the same 20 song rotation. I guess the new owner/management had finally closed the coffin. This used to be a pretty fun club way back when. I guess the economy and all the changes in management/staff/ownership has taken the club down a few notches. Hopefully they will change back and remove the stick from the manager/owners ass and the fun factor will come back up. Didn't see too many thugs. Were a few working class white dudes, a couple black dudes and some hispanic dudes. Best thing about the club was the diversity of the customers and dancers. Worst part shitty management which in turn makes the staff shitty. Hope they get it together, I really used to have a blast here. " - - Frank Banks

I've heard three times in 2 wks that manager beat up customers, and someone even pressed charges... This club sucks, the bartenders are rude and when you order a drink, they don't even ring it up, guess they keep the money... Went about two weeks ago, around 2pm, there was 5 dancers.. How do they pay their bills? The girls can't be making any money... Drinks were cheap but very weak. I will not be back anytime soon, till they change alot!! 5/26/2009 "..I made a swing through Lipstick on Memorial Day. I think the cover was $2 since it was before 7pm. It may have been $3, I really don't remember. The crowd was actually not bad considering it was an afternoon on a holiday, but pretty sparse compared to normal circumstances. There was a really cute, long legged redhead on the main stage when I first got there and I broke my regular routine by immediately tipping her. There was also a brunette with a smokin' body that came out later, but unfortunately I never got to spend any time with either of them. Not long after I tipped the redhead, another dancer came and stood with me at the bar. Not only could she not take the hint that I wasn't interested, she couldn't take a flat out no. I even moved and she moved right along with me. I tried my best not to be too rude, but maybe I needed to be. I spent the majority of my time that afternoon telling her I didn't want a dance and listening to her brag about herself. Knowing how most dancers won't approach a customer when it looks like someone else has "planted their flag", I finally just left with the intention of coming back later and hoping the other two were still there. I came back sometime between 8 and 9pm and the brunette was indeed still there, but she was only working the door. Damn the luck. I did sit with another dancer who apparently thought I just fell off the turnip truck and was doing her best to play me. She asked if I could give her a ride home and it was followed by the convenient emergency phone call and the request I take her to the other side of Dallas, yada yada yada. Been there, done that. It may have worked better for her if she hadn't essentially asked someone to call her phone right in front of me. The place itself is pretty much the same as it has been for years, with the addition of the smoking patio thanks to new city laws, but this visit was a little frustrating thanks to a couple of the dancers. She came about 15 minutes after her set. We went to the VIP couch and she got her groove on. I was disappointed that she didn't want to chat, guess she didn't have anything intelligent to say( dumbass. She was a very skinny and bony and did a lot of alarming but nice moves feared she would have broken her hip if I did not ask her to stop. Gave me an instant boner once she took off her top and shook her ass ( got to love the old broads) We did 3 songs and then I had to go pee. I hate that. Anyway, when I came back she was gone. I think her shift was over or something. Found a latina girl on the stage next to me. She came and did some dances for me. 1/13/2009 "..I went to this club on dayshift a few days ago it was not what i expected. the girls were not at all what i expected, i wanted full figured i got boney except for a few girls that were full figured not fat but beautiful and healthy, there was a couple girls that were and that is darla and lacy. they were two of the most prettiest full figured women i have ever seen they could do so much more than that place. my waitress was nice i think her name was evonne. the club is a ok club except they play to much latino music and not enough country. the drinks are reasonable but the waitress i had when i first walked in before i got evonne was so slow and it took her forever to bring me a drink then she had to go back and get my change and she was very unorganized. as for the dj i dont know who he was but he sucked. he had nothing to get the attention of the crowd for the girls. and i think he enjoyed the music more than the crowd. and as for management they seem to change frequently andthe door girls change too often to. some of the bartenders seem lazy and i think they need to fix that. cause when your dancer can say that your drink did not taste like what you ordered and the bartender has to look up how to make it there is a problem. 9/24/2008 "..Lipstick is about to get shaken up like nobody's ever seen before. By some strange fluke, one of the best DJ's in the industry has accepted a job there...and in his first two days, he's changed the entire vibe of the club. A friend and me have known Jeffrey (AKA English Bob) since the early days of Santa Fe Cabaret and Texas Showgirls. He's got the best classic rock collection of anyone I know, and pulls out the most obscure stuff you love but haven't heard in ages. Even though the dancers are still the same ones that used to dance to all that stuff they CALL R&B these days, he's got them dancing to music you can actually listen to and enjoy. We used to stop by there in the afternoons just for an hour or so...now, we stay until he gets off work, just to hear what he'll play or say next. And we've noticed that, wherever he goes, hotter girls start showing up. If they can manage to keep him, Lipstick could turn into the new hip place to be as far as the smaller clubs go. I'm not sure why he left the money he was making at Cabaret, but I'm glad to see him back in a place I can afford. " - Jim

3/24/2008 "..I went to this club for the first time on Good Friday... I arrived at @5pm. The door girl was above average in the looks department & very sweet. Walking in the club it seemed very trashy. Several girls were standing by the bar right inside the door... they were argeuing & they all look VERY "ruff". A dancer named MARIAH approched me before I even took a seat. Chubby.... but had a pretty face. After about 3 minutes of listing to her tell me how rich she is & how fabulious she was... I dismissed her. Had it not been for her horrible attitude I might have bought a lap dance from her. The waitress was very very nice & pretty, so I decided to sit & stay for a beer. I am SO glad I did. Shortly after I had a seat, KRISTI walked on the the main stage. This girl is BEAUTIFUL. Her body was nothing short of amazing. I went to tip her & got a close up of her face... her smile & her eyes were just as amazing as the rest of her. I really dont understand why she works in this trashy club. She seemed insecure... I guess that is why she choose such a shit hole to work at. Insecure or not, she gave the best lap dance I have ever gotten. 3/7/2007 "..Club is somewhat middle of the road for dallas. I've been to a few worse. Most of the girls are 4-6 on a scale of 10 mostly black ladies with a few hispanic ladies and very few white ladies. Bartenders are pretty hot and friendly for the most part. Bathroom is attended...still smells though. Door person is friendly and the DJ isn't half bad most nights. Management seems to rotate frequently and the new ones always have something to prove but it usually wears off or they quit/get fired. Quite a few thugs/pimps in the club easily spotted but they don't usually bother you. The servers hustle drinks pretty quick. Make sure you are completely finished with a drink before you take your hand off of it. Don't leave a half finished drink on the table without someone watching it carefully or it will disappear. Dancers have a pretty high turnover rate as with any club. They do offer a lunch special (although I have not partaken in it) and have $2.50 well drinks til 8pm it goes up dramatically after 8. Cover is $2 during the day and $5 after 5pm. There are worse clubs to spend a few bucks at though also much better ones too 2/5 stars for me. " - -
