Silver City is one of the more unusual adult cabarets in DFW. While it's a very large club, it's elongated style gives it a smaller club feel. It's almost like being in four closely connected clubs at once. The club has a raised main stage in the center of the cabaret with two brass poles and backed with floor to ceiling mirrors. There is a second stage at one end of the club almost as large as the main stage with poles and mirrors as well. Around the club are six other smaller stages which stand in the middle of the tables - pedestals for the local goddesses. Just about every table has a good view of two or more stages. Brass poles were taken out of the smaller stages some time ago and I have to say that I think it was a mistake. Some people think the brass pole is too cliché for upscale clubs but on the smaller stages, the girls could use something to help them lose the feeling like they are dancing on a coffee table. The decor is fine dark woods and carpeting, linen tablecloths with low-backed chairs which allow a pretty much unobstructed view throughout the main club area. This is a plus since Silver City sports a large number of some of the finest women in the DFW area. Upscale gentlemen's clubs tend to attract the hottest dancers so it is not too surprising that this upscale club has its own large stable of beauties. It has one of the widest variety of dancers I've seen in any of the upscale clubs. Some of the the girls I'm not sure I would say were my idea of upscale dancers but they seem to have their regulars here. Many of the girls are not only beautiful but very pleasant to talk with. It's a large club with a large number of girls working every shift so the hustle factor can get a bit high in here. I have to admit that my last visits were toward the end of the month which may have been a contributing factor. A note to you lovely ladies reading this is that this critic always responds "No" to the opening line of "Would you like a table dance?" whereas "Would you like some company?" or just a simple friendly greeting usually gets you drinks and the opportunity to audition for the entertainer of the month. My personal picks for this club are Kate, Daisy, and Angel. Of course for you other patrons, your mileage may vary. Silver City is a fun club. Although the music is too loud in the main stage area, you can find a good spot around the club to suit your tastes. There's the main stage which tends to be the wildest party spot. The second stage is a good spot for larger parties and gets you away from the crush at the front door and main bar. Just off the main stage is the Champagne room. It's a bit more plush and set off from the main club by smoked glass walls and more comfortable high backed chairs. Purchase of a bottle of fine wine or champagne will get you and your favorite entertainer(s) off into this more private area without getting too far away from the fun in the main cabaret. At the back of the club is the cigar lounge and back bar area - a favorite hangout for regulars. For an even more intimate evening or to better enjoy the fine dining, I suggest the VIP room. It is discreetly set off from the main cabaret and there are even semi-private booths available for private parties or those who want even more privacy than the typical VIP room. The wait staff is generally good. Silver City can get pretty packed and wild. I can't say I've found a regular waitress that I could recommend but they do a pretty good job keeping up with drink orders and entertainer requests amid the loud music and party madness. Silver City also serves up a fine dining menu. The menu is fairly reasonable and offers a wide variety of foods. The fare is what you might expect from a fine hotel. The more party-like atmosphere of the main club area isn't conducive to dining but there is a more quiet area in the back of the club where you can enjoy the fine cuisine. The VIP room, while a bit small, is also a wonderful part of the club to enjoy a fine meal and the company of your favorite entertainer. Silver City is a favorite place for out of town guests to party in Dallas for good reason. The managers and entertainers keep things fun without being too stuffy. You can even take away a souvenir hat or T-shirt. What keeps Silver City a favorite are the innovative special events. Seems the management is always looking for some excuse to party, whether its a day at the beach where they turn the parking lot into a sand volley ball court or celebrating Tommy's (the GM) birthday all decked out in 70's disco style. As if being one of the largest clubs in DFW wasn't enough, look for
Silver City to expand it's size in the next few months!
