4/8/2006 "..Okay... Okay.. The comments I have read so far are trashing Spankees. It is clear the people who left the comments did not review the club first. Spankees is for BBW's and BHM's. Other than that you will see lesbians in the club as well. It is truly an alternative club. The women there are friendly and the bartendersa pour the stiffest drinks I have had at any club in Dallas. The people are friendly. Fridays and Saturday's are the busiest nights and the club is packed. You can tell the bar used to be a strip club because of the stage set-up. The DJ is phenomenal and they play mostly popular hip hop after 10pm. Wed. and Thursday are more of the regulars night. There is kareoke on these nights and there are a lot of swingers. If you are a closed off person youy will not have fun. People remember this is a club...please be forward and talk to the ladies. I promise they will respond!!! " - - BWebb

10/16/2001 ".. Dropped in at Spankees last Monday night to see if was as bad as what I read on here. Let's just say we stayed about 5 minutes, in which time we were never acknowledged by anyone, and I did not see anyone that I would say was attractive. Maybe I just picked the wrong night to drop in, then again, I went on to PT's, and they were partying! I think it will be a long while before I try this one out again, but you never know... 10/14/2001 "..10/11/01 9:00pm Well, here is another review trashing Spankees. This is bovine heaven and with lots of extra feedings. The "hefers" here are either huge lumbering cud chewers or homely as an anal wart on Meat Loaf's ass, or both. The owner is sometimes concious but often brain-dead to even the barest levels of customer service. They advertise no-panty and no-bra contests but when my girl-friend who is a calendar model (most recently for Harley-Davidson) wanted to go in wearing a see through dress and a small g-string, he said that we could not enter. I guess that he is just an animal lover. That is the reason my normal good nature has soured. Spankees is destined to continue on as Dallas' most non-entertaining freak show. Don't waste your time or money on this place. I have been to the old place and the new and it is not a pretty sight. Be afraid, be very afraid! P.S. Is there a way I can give negative stars? 10/14/2000 "..I walked into Spankees, and when I went to the bar for a drink, the bartender said nothing to me, he stood at the far end of the bar talking on the telephone. There were mainly older people there, definatly not the kind I would have cared to have an encounter, I went there to hopefully meet a young lady for adult fun, but, I was shocked to see that the crowd was mainly those whom looked like death warmed over, I went out to the truck and told my buddy, Not here man, it is awful. 6/1/2000 "..Texas Tall you are right Spankees was a human zoo. I have never been to Spankees before, but trust me I will never ever go again. The so called BBW that they seem to have at the club. They arent BBW they are BNW (big nasty women). I'm a BBW myself but I have alot more respecet for myself than most if not all the women in Spankees. I would never wear the clothes that they were wearing for it was very unladylike and very nasty, but they fit right in with the atmosphere of the club for it was very trashy and dirty. I would not tell anyone to go there not even my dog. My thoughts on this club was white trash and getto, I am far from being racial for I am a white women who likes black men, but the men in there was not my type. As far as sex I did not see any, for I was not looking for any I was ready to go 30 mins after I got there, Thank GOD I got there right before closing time. 5/29/2000 ".. If you've ever wanted to visit a human zoo, then this is the place to go. Spankees is entertaining if you take it in that vein. Picture all the BBW in town on the hunt for skinny small fries or ebony men who enjoy big-breasted, big-butt white women, and you get some sort of an idea about what this alternative club is night. On any given night, you can see cross-dressers, drag queens, transvestites, 300lb women in spandex and see-thru tops, and of course, the men who love them. It's quite a site. Cover is $20 and they sponsor "No Bra" and "No Panty" contests almost every week. I've seen couples virtually having sex in the corners and out in the middle of everyone, tho they say if you do that they'll kick you out. It seems that they have a serious group of regulars here as well, so newcomers might get the cold shoulder for awhile. If you get REALLY drunk one night and want to see a spectacle of human behavior gone seriously demented, stop in here." - Texas Tall
